@onlyson ---- I'm not a Sabbath keeper , either. Because Jesus Christ rose bodily from the grave on the first day of the week, so, we celebrate Sunday as the Lord's Day.

Yes, 'we' should All have freedom to believe / practice the religion of our choice and NOT force Anyone to any particular belief system.

Christianity Does have the only risen Savior after the three days of being in the grave. It was the practice back in those days -- to make sure the person being buried was actually Dead.
It is God's desire to have a personal relationship with all of us. Jesus Christ did it all on the cross , in our place and For us. No good works on our part are necessary.

And, yes, there was Much persecution by the RCC.

there was a discussion a while back -- the Trinitarian vs Non-Trinitarians. The Trinity is very much Scriptural. Central to Christianity.
If you are not a Sabbath keeper than you cannot be one of this person. Revelation 12:17 and 14:12.
And also you are calling Jesus a liar. Reed Mathews 5:17-20. Jesus says: "THINK NOT"! Why are you thinking?

What is the message of the Three Angels -- those other two passages talk about keeping the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus Christ.

The Matthew 5 passage is saying that the Old Testament is fulfilled in the New Testament. The 10 commandments have been fulfilled in the New Testament. Keeping the Law does Not contribute to anyone's salvation. It Does point a person to the fact of their need For salvation. Because if a person breaks One of those laws , they are guilty of All of them. The New Testament says to Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and secondly to love your neighbor as yourself.

It Also says in the New Testament that either the Sabbath Day can be worshipped on Or the Lord's Day. And that neither person is to be condemned for either choice. The important thing is To take time To worship God with those of like belief.

The remainder of that 5 th chapter of Matthew says a great deal.

God wants relationship with us -- not our ability to keep commandments. And He says that once we Do accept Jesus Christ as our personal Savior -- the Holy Spirit comes immediately to indwell the person and 'writes on our hearts' those things that He wants us to do. We will Desire things, not doing them grudgingly.

And the 'how long, oh Lord, how long" probably until every person alive has had a chance to hear the Gospel unto salvation. To accept or reject Him. And there is more and more advancement in communications these days. Even Now we have 'live broadcasts' of events.

Your comment about the two words "Think not" Why are you thinking? A bit out of context and application Of.

Not quite right Sue, the RCC do so, the Jehovah's and others 'worship God 'with those of like beliefs'. If the beliefs are wrong then all are wrong.

The important thing is to take time to worship God with those of like beliefs, that do so with a correctly translated Bible and in accordance with The Truth in the Word.

Hope you don't mind me adding this, we don't want the discussion to be incorrectly understood as Talk Jesus has readers from many backgrounds.

Peace be with you

Well -- the RCC use a Bible with -- Apocraphal books included. And it's some of Those books that aren't correct. That's why those books had been removed.

so -- the idea is to use the Bible / Word of God / with no other books included. The KJV --NKJ -- NAS would be good versions to use. Jesus Christ tells us in John 14:6 that "I am the Way, the Truth and the life , no man comes to the Father but by Me." And we're also told to Not subtract -- take out passages that we don't like -- Or ADD any writings from other people.

Yes, and it's Because there are people on Forum From other belief systems that the Word of God / the Bible is to be the focus.

Did the world has pass by? Or we are still living on it. Read Mathew 5:17-20 again. But this time only see Jesus talking to you.

If you don't know what is the Three Angels Messages in the Bible, you can ask me and we can go there and let only the Bible talk.

Where I can find in the Bible that Jesus says that His dead on the cross shall put an end to His Father Laws?

James 2:10-11. Did James are talking about the law of God of the Old Testament or the New Testament?

Revelation 12:17 and 14:12. Are you one of this person?

Answered me Biblical. Is time to wake-up of the hypnosis of Satan. Followed only the Bible.

In the Old Testament there was a need for yearly sacrificing a lamb by the high priest to forgive sins -- but there's that verse in New Testament that says that the blood of bulls and goats cannot take away sins of mankind. It was only meant to be a temporary 'fix' for sins. Jesus Christ was to become the Perfect lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. And when He arose from the dead on that 3rd day, it prove that He was indeed the Son of God. So -- Protestants have chosen to worship God on the Lord's Day of resurrection. The start of Christianity.

The Ten Commandments have been replaced / fulfilled with Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and soul AND your neighbor as yourself.

James 2:10 is talking about Old Testament law. The New Testament is under God's Grace.

Again, where I can read that Jesus says that His dead on the cross has put an end to His Father Laws, The Ten Commandments? If there isn't any other verses were I can find one that one of the apostles said that Jesus dead on the cross has put an end to His Father law. I will read it Biblical.

Well -- not meaning to sound rude -- but since you do know how to use a computer --you can Google it like I would be. or look it up in a concordance. Also found on-line. And I Do realize that this is a discussion Forum

Well -- that happens to be the case -- Scripture -- an understanding through reading it Does show that. I'm going to Google that right now.

Just Did Google that -- The two greatest commandments -- Matthew 22:37-39 A good chapter.

Some things are not a simple one Scripture -- however -- the Lord's Supper -- Communion -- Luke 22:20 mentioned the new covenant.
The book of Romans chapter 5 vs 9 in particular -- but the entire passage for context.
Colossians 1:20
Hope this helps.

Still doesn't get my answer. Do you think that Google know the Bible better then the Bible? My questions come out of the Bible and the answers are in the Bible.

You have talk about Romans, I know that the most Christians denominations are stock in Romans 7:24. But they have never seen Romans 8:1-7. Verse 4 is for me. And verse 7 is for the people that think that Jesus dead on the cross has put an end to His Father Law.

I follow Jesus not Google. Jesus says: "THINK NOT". That's why I'm not thinking what He has coming not to do. I think in what Jesus says in Mathew 5:20. He is my master not Google.

@Pipiripi -- obviously you don't understand how Google works. A person can find the Greek/ Hebrew texts on Google -- on-line Bible studies. A person can find the various versions of the Bible on-line /Google.

Have you looked up the Scriptures I shared with you?

And, on what basis would you Know that 'most Christian denominations are stuck in Romans 7:24 " O wretched man that I am ! Who will deliver me from this body of death?" Christianity tells us that a born-again believer Will eventually be receiving a new glorified body like Jesus Christ had after He rose from the dead. Christianity / God's Word tell us that. Because of the fall of Adam and Eve -- we will face death. Unless we're alive when the rapture takes place.

Sounds like you're 'cherry picking' verses in the Bible that You like and saying that everyone Else is following Another verse. And, of course All Scripture is inspired / given to mankind/ by God Through the Holy Spirit. However, there is ALL Scripture to be read. So -- it's Better to be reading All of it -- in it's intended context and how it fits with Other Scripture. You Seem to believe that as long as it's Scripture that it can be taken / any verse / and a person's application Of will Always be correct.

Sue my friend why don't you answered my questions? Why Google also cannot answer my question. Let we go together and studying the words of God together and with an open mind. Forget about Google your teacher and let Jesus my teacher only speak. Don't you know that the Bible interpreted itself? Don't you know that the Bible is a true story book written by different authors? Ask yourself this question. Why the Apostles have keeping the Sabbath and teached and worship on Sabbath after many years of Jesus dead? Begin to search in the book of act. Just write Sabbath in the Bible and see if you found any verses that says the Sabbath is ended. Or ask Google your teacher. Answer my question Biblical so that the others that are following this debate shall see which teaching is the true one.

Revelation 12:17 and 14:12, are you one of this person today?

YES or NO and why.

I'm not debating with Anyone -- I Am trying to have a conversation with you.

I've been in the Bible all my life.

Google is simply one of several research engines on a computer.

And, yes, some people Do choose to still worship God on the Sabbath. Nothing wrong with that. And Lots of us choose to worship on Sunday / the Lords' Day -- acknolwedging His bodily resurrection.

As I previously asked -- have you looked up the Scriptures that i shared?

Matthew 22;37 - 39 starting with verse 36 -- "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law. vs 37 " Jesus said to him. "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind."
vs 38 "This is the first and great commandment. " vs 39 "And the second is like it" You shall love your neighbor as yourself." vs 40 "On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."

Revelation 12:17 " And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. "
14: 12 "Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. "

Okay -- you've found two verses in the book of Revelation that have those two phrases in them. The context of the rest of those verses gets into the equation as well.

They are Way in the future. Probably during the tribulation period. The Church / all born-again believers from all times in history will be taken up to meet Jesus Christ in the air / will be raptured out of here Before that.

There Will be people saved During that time, also. I don't plan to be around during that time, Will be with the Church having been raptured up.

As for Today -- I've accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior -- the Holy Spirit dwelling in me puts the desire in my heart To obey God's Word. Now does that mean I constantly Do obey God's Word. Probably not, because I'm still human and mess up now and then. Satan Does know our weaknesses and we do slip up and think / do things we probably shouldn't. And I'm hoping that people Do see Christ in my life.

Hopefully 'this' Has answered your questions.

No, not correct answer. The two commands that says love God above all, and your neighbours as yourself is the same 10 Commandments. The first FOUR belong to God, and the other SIX belong to humans.

Are you one of the people in Revelation 12:17 and 14:12?
There are many people that are waiting what you gonna answered this question. We are still waiting!!

Greetings,

No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He hath given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God
, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world
.
1John 4:12-17

are you one of the people referred to here?

Why would anyone need boldness?
What will give them that boldness?

The Apostles prayed for boldness. Does anyone remember when and what for and why?

Bless you ....><>

Acts 4:23-31 New King James Version (NKJV)
Prayer for Boldness
23 And being let go, they went to their own companions and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said to them. 24 So when they heard that, they raised their voice to God with one accord and said: “Lord, You are God, who made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them, 25 who [a]by the mouth of Your servant David have said:
‘Why did the nations rage,
And the people plot vain things?
26 The kings of the earth took their stand,
And the rulers were gathered together
Against the Lord and against His Christ.’
27 “For truly against Your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together 28 to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done.
29 Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word,
30 by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”
31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

Do you think that this may be what is referred to about the testimony of Jesus?

And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

Then the angel told me to write, “Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.” So I fell at his feet to worship him. But he told me, “Do not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who rely on the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
Revelation 19:9-10

And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Revelation 12:17
(And this commandment have we from Him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. 1John 4:21)

Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth Him that begat loveth Him also that is begotten of Him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

This is He that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood.

And it is the Spirit that beareth witness,

because the Spirit is truth.

1John 5:1-6

It would appear that worship of God is the testimony of His Son, or at least, you can not worship God without the testimony of His Son, for if you leave out His Son you do not worship Him. Perhaps another way to put that is to say, the testimony of Jesus is true worship. (see John 3:16)

If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which He hath testified of His Son.

He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of His Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

He that hath the Son hath life;

and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

1John 5:9-12

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto Him, to shew unto His servants things which must shortly come to pass; and He sent and signified it by His angel unto His servant John:

Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein:

for the time is at hand.

Revelation 1:1-3

To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be holy, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours:

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

I always thank my God for you because of the grace He has given you in Christ Jesus. For in Him you have been enriched in every way, in all speech and all knowledge, because our testimony about Christ was confirmed in you.

Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly await the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ. He will sustain you to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God, who has called you into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.

There is so much controversy everywhere we need to stop wasting time arguing and just follow Gods Word and be REALLY READY for Jesus to return at ALL TIMES then there will be no need to panic! Who's right who's not just know that following God's WORD is always RIGHT and trusting that JESUS IS COMING PERIOD! I want to be ready and looking forward to our Lord's return with joy and great RELIEF. I believe the people that are ready will be caught up in the air on the first TRUMP and will not suffer the great tribulation. There will be people saved after but the conditions will be incredibly difficult to not be tempted to doing evil in order to hold on to this earthly life. The bible states ( hold onto this life and lose you're eternal soul but give up this life and gain life eternal! I myself choose the latter. Come Lord Jesus!
