I believe the knowledge of Salvation is having knowledge and understanding about the work of Jesus Christ atoning for man's sins through the Mercy and Grace of God. After man's sins have been forgiven him, the believer receives the dayspring of the Holy Ghost sent down from God on high. A man cannot receive the Holy Ghost until his sins are forgiven him.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Man had no knowledge of salvation and could not obtain Eternal Life until his sins were atoned for. Sin separated all men from Jehovah God in whom alone is life eternal. Once the sins of the world were atoned for through the work of Jesus Christ, every man that believed would have knowledge of Salvation and we're given Eternal Life.

Titus 3:5

But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

We as believers have knowledge of salvation, not by our works, but by the mercy and grace of God which was in Jesus Christ and extended unto us through the remission of our sins.

Hebrews 10:18
Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

Scriptures do imply that a person can do works of obedience by keeping the commandments of Jesus Christ (Mar. 10:25-28) (Mat. 19:16-19).

The beginning of a person's confidence is when they initially believe the message of Jesus which is the knowledge of Salvation. What if a believer does not continue in confidence showing their faith through their works until the end?

Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.

My point about salvation is, though, that salvation is more than simply being saved from the wages of sin... Jesus’ sacrifice covered every area of man's existence. He bore spiritual torment for sins, mental distress for our worry, care, and fear as well as physical pain for our sickness and disease. The stripes He bore were for our healing. With his stripes, we are healed. God gave us everything He had to redeem mankind from the curse for us to receive only part of His sacrifice is an insult to him. Healing, deliverance from demons, deliverance from poverty....Every need that a human can have, has been provided for....That's salvation!!

That's not what the scriptures teaches... You cannot love Jesus if you do not know Him. You cannot "know" Jesus unless you keep His commandments.

You rejected the scriptures that told you verbatim what you needed to do to obtain Eternal Life.

If a man does not keep Christ's sayings they will see death (Joh. 8:51).The sayings of Christ are the commandments of God (Joh. 12:49).

God doesn't change in His wisdom and commands to believers. I realize God is talking to the Priest, but the fact of this scripture doesn't change.

The reason many in Israel did not see the promise land is because they did not know God's ways by keeping His commandments. Paul warned new covenant believers of this for a reason.

You reject a Christian that truly walks in Righteoysness by God's Grace and you do the best you can to pull him down to where you are. You reject the freedom in Christ because you don't seem to understand it. And it seem your best way to deal with it is to make foolish comments contrary to the encouragement and lifting up of the brothers in Christ. You express to the world your level of faith through telling me what i'm doing in your ignorance of me. God says, all things are possible to them that believe (spiritually), and you speak against a son of God believing Him. At the base root of the question, the knowledge of Salvation isn't quite the same as the "doing" of Salvation.
I may believe I should act/believe/trust/have faith a certain way, but if I'm not doing it, what good is the knowledge?

The knowledge of Salvation to me is emphasized in two ways. One way is salvation from sin, which a person "cannot" receive a reward-for or "DO" anything showing acts of obedience to receive other than beleif from the heart in confessing Jesus' works for the world. The second is eternal salvation which is "doing" something according to the knowledge given in which the obedient believer will receive a reward or not.
