The bible sure has a lot to say about harden hearts and new hearts.

Could it be a hardened heart is not conscious of sin??

Ephesians 4:18
They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to their hardness of heart.

Matthew 13:14-15
Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says: “‘You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive. For this people's heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.’

when we are born again we receive a new heart we learn to discern evil the only way to do that is being conscious of sin

Dave, I have no interest in arguing with you; and in my heart I don't argue with you. I find ways to reason with you without anger even if we disagree. Arguments ensues through anger. I use this forum as a platform to exercise character and strategies in presenting the knowledge of God's word. It's not about using words trying to provoke you to anger as folks do. That's why early on in our discussions you said that's why you continued to chat with me. If you post something that I do not agree with, I will state my reasons why. I try not to "only" use scripture, because I desire for those that do not understand my position to understand my reasoning behind the scriptures I present. I have asked other to do the same (when speaking with me on what we disagree on) but I don't get the same respect. I've tried to write less because what I say is not received, but I will continue to make my points.

You've presented many scriptures, but my interpretation may be different. This is why presenting scriptures without some kind of explanation of how you're interpreting the scripture, can leave the reader with a lack of understanding. There's no unified reasoning.

You have presented many scriptures, but I don't understand your reasoning behind them and my reasoning the scriptures are one-sided. This is not reasoning the scripture as the body of Christ. What you've written is like a jab at those that oppose your view. We have to start reasoning in Righteousness.

The harden heart spoken of in scripture is because of "Israel's sins." Israel knew and were conscious of their sins, knowing they could offer a sacrifice and God would forgive their sins. Because of this Israel's heart became hardened against God and would not obey God's word and hardened their heart towards it. Israel would not humble themselves and repent from their sins and turn to God. Israel didn't have faith towards God's commands or His spoken word. This is what they hardened their hearts against.

Psalms 95:8
Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
Psalms 95:9
When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.
Psalms 95:10
Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do "err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:"

Exodus 34:9
And Moses said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O Lord, let my Lord, I pray thee, go among us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.

Once God circumcised the believer's heart giving them a new heart, it could not become corrupt in any way because of sin. Sin defiled the heart of those that were under the Mosaic Law because of sin, but sin cannot defile or corrupt the heart of believers because their is no sin to defile or corrupt the heart.

1 Peter 3:4
But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is "not corruptible," even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

I've been consistently saying it's not sin, but unfruitful works. Believers will give account of their works - not sin. There is no where in scripture teaching believers will be judged for their sins. Sins have already been judged.

If you can show me my error in thinking I will change my view.

I'm a very patient and loving person, however, you and Bendito show your character on this forum is to refuse to humble yourselves in love. Your position is to continue to revile members through carnal words because they don't agree with you. You show your rejection of the character of Christ because you will not humble yourself from judging members that are in the body of Christ.

You make a distinction between you being saved and my salvation because I say I don't sin, but commit unfruitful works; but you don't understand what the term "unfruitful" means. Instead of getting a reasonable understanding of the word, you choose to revile and reject the character of Christ by doing contrary.

In my post I showed you exactly where your errors of thinking are, and instead of commenting on what I said, you choose to accept the devil's offer and post slanderous comments which "YOU KNOW" scripture tells you it not your place to do.

Romans 14:4
Who are you that judges another man's servant? to his own master he stands or falls. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

You are putting yourself in the position of Christ by these statement and it's obvious you don't realize it or you don't care. You are willfully lying by using scripture to say I am saying God's word is foolish. This is not a sound rational Godly character. This is reviling as scripture teaches

You show yourselves to pass by this forum reviling those you don't agree with just as they reviled Christ. I'm not judging your position in Christ; but you believe it's okay to judge mine. You say you sin - yet I give you scripture to show your freedom from sin and you reject it. You are free from "Sin" and "Death" and you choose to reject the freedom of Christ and remain a sinner. I'm not telling you this, you are telling me.

Romans 8:2
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

We as believers are Jews by nature because we are born in Christ and we have no sin nature. Paul is telling Peter the same. Whether a Jew is a Jew by nature carnally or by adoption through Jesus Christ, we are not sinners like the Gentiles, those that are sinners and unbelievers.

Galatians 2:15
We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,
