An understanding of Genesis 1:1-5

In the beginning God made that the substance that would become universe came to be as a sea before His throne. The substance had no form such as photon, neutron, or proton and there was no electron activity or life within it. And God entered universe that light shone or photons sprang and that protons and neutrons formed and that electron activity bound them that atoms occurred and molecules formed that their mass might provide for dark side and light side, and as molecules rotated the evening and the morning were the first day and God was pleased.

Gyro Gearloose is a cartoon character who is very much like the MacGyver character on TV. He can take anything and make anything with it. Very intelligent and when he explains something its in very technical detail that leaves his friends confused big time. Its kind of funny considering the majority of the worlds population, at least English speaking use mostly four letter words of rarely more than two syllables.
Then here comes you, using technical words and I thought of Gyro Gearloose. No offense intended.

Ok. As to your theory....It's not a new theory but it does contradict the Word. The theories that people come up with are simply because they are trying to explain vs 2. But start at verse 1 In the beginning God CREATED the heavens and the Earth. It does not say He created the materials to build the heavens and the Earth. It says clearly that He did the creation. And its written in past tense....Job done, complete, done deal, no more to do to complete it. Then the Earth became without form and void. We know this by studying the original languages...It kind of goes like this; 2 And the earth was tohu vavohu ( became without form, and void). The words Tohu vavohu indicate it was not then it became.... So as verse two says clearly...The Earth became without form (shapeless, unstable) and void (dead, incapable of supporting life)
I understand you've learned stuff, and that's good but you do have to consider your sources.

Of course...We may believe any way we choose on this issue, especially since it is not important to our salvation. What would concern me here, though, is this. The Bible is a book of covenants, it's a legal document, or a series of legal documents..That requires them to be accurate. So my question is; Why did God say He created the heavens and the Earth when He merely created the materials to build the heavens and the Earth? Doing it that way says the Word is wrong. He did not create the heavens and the Earth, he merely assembled them from pre-existing materials...Granted...If He created those materials as you say. To create something, one must bring that something into existence from nothing. But God used pre-existing materials. Now it forces me to question the veracity of Gods Word. He said He did it one way but in fact did it another way. Hmmmm. I'm sure glad I'm not a lawyer.

There were no pre-existing materials before God created universe or the substance that would become heaven and "earth" or earths as we know it at this moment. I'm sure glad I have a lawyer or advocate in Jesus. Please, consider my further posts.

I believe that is what I said above. Your post said God created the materials to make the heavens and the Earth, then using said materials, He assembled the heavens and the Earth.....Ok. I'm done with this discussion. I really do not want to argue.
