Where are Today's Disciples / Servants of Jesus Christ?

Where are Today's Disciples / Servants of Jesus Christ?

I know of no disciple or servant of Jesus Christ, other than myself.

Holy Bible - Matthew 28:19-20 (ESV)
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Churches are apostate, not making disciples. And leadership in churches are not doing as the Lord Jesus commanded to be done.

For example,
Holy Bible - Matthew 10:8 (ESV)
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without paying; give without pay.

Just to put into perspective, so your words are not taken out of context of what I hope is your meaning.
You may not know of any disciples or servants of Christ Jesus but yourself, doesn't mean that there are none, but yourself.

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

Amen! We do not know everyone's heart, but neither did Elijah when he thought he was all alone. God corrected him to the tune of 7,000 in Israel.

Just because you don't know where all the believers are God does for he has many people in every city and in every town all over the world!

Act 18:9 And the Lord said to Paul one night in a vision, “Do not be afraid, but go on speaking and do not be silent,
Act 18:10 for I am with you, and no one will attack you to harm you, for I have many in this city who are my people.” (ESV)

Therefor pray that the lord of the harvest, that he will send forth his laborers into his harvest.

Mat 9:37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
Mat 9:38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

I'm sorry, but you seem deceived. The Lord had many in one city. It seems extremely unlikely that God has many in every city and town.

I didn't indicate a position that I am the only disciple. I asked where are the others.

Thus your post is out of context and is without the love of Christ Jesus. You failed to identify yourself as a disciple. So for what positive reason are you posting in my thread?

Sure you did when you wrote....

Or there is a Spirit of self righteousness at work here and you place yourself much higher then most.

Or I guess you could be taking the role of a sheltered person who never sees any other person but highly unlikely.

Failed to identify as a disciple?
Without the Love of Christ Jesus?

How is it you come to believe these things?

Dear @AlertChristians
Please reread your initial post. Which is what I was referring to. Not the title of the thread.
I know of no disciple or servant of Jesus Christ, other than myself.
My reply to your initial post was not to critique but rather to expound upon what you had written there so that others would understand that you were not saying what you are accusing me of saying of you. Make sense? :)

Only with the Love of Christ Jesus.

Your reply doesn't make any sense. Please post on topic.
Hmmm? I was responding to the post of @Christ4Ever which was in response to your post. Have you never read about Elijah in the OT?

I was referring to these verses:

"And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away." I Kings 19:10
"Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.' I Kings 19:18

Greetings @AlertChristians

Sometimes as Christians we can feel very alone.
Perhaps you feel that way now.

I can assure you that you have online brothers and sisters in the Lord here......those who have answered your post, Christ4ever, Curtis, Amadeus2 and Wired 4 Fishen, are all fellow believers. So praise the Lord and give thanks for what He has provided for you here, even if in the physical sense you dont have other Christians around you.

Now I notice you tell others their posts lack love........perhaps prayerfully look at your posts.
Are they full of love? Are they full of Jesus
Or are they tainted with self?

Be blessed and be a blessing here.......the balls in your court brother.

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children

John 5:31 If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.

John 7:18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

I don't believe any disciple can bear testimony of himself in being a disciple of Jesus Christ. I believe a disciple of Jesus Christ seeks to bear testimony of the Son in seeking His glory, thus he must decrease if He is to increase in his testimony.

Proverbs 27:1 Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. 2 Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips....17 Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. 4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: 5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; 7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; 8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. 9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. 10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; 12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; 13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.

1 Corinthians 3:5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? 6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

These are the only people I see actually obeying what Jesus taught in the gospels, take a look??!!

Everyone else is just claiming something they don't have.

Hello TheTruthWithin37,

I'm curious. Are we supposed to be "promoting Jesus"?

Either have never met Jesus or rejected Him?

Noah's conviction was what motivated him to build the ark? Could it actually have been God speaking to Noah and telling him to?

The needs of our souls?

Genuine article not yet offered?

Every Church and Plan of Salvation?

He sent His Son to give us answers?

I notice that it doesn't include Scripture as a whole. Only what Jesus taught.
Which tells me right off the bat that what I'll hear is colored one way and one way only. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
Acts, Epistles....????

Sorry can't do that. Understanding will come by the way of the Holy Spirit, but I know that separating Scripture into this part and that part because (fill in the blank) is not right. I believe as it says in 2 Timothy 3:16 "All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: "

Watching the first video, he doesn't even answer the title of it. Why would I want to lead by him, which is no different than any of those he pictured in the video?

Sorry I'm going to remove the link to this video.

LOL, Jesus is the one who saves us right? It's sad to see that people hate what he taught but scream 'LORD LORD' just like he said they would.

How can we know you are His disciples until you start discipling others ? As for miracles, only God can do that thru His disciples so unless you have a video, kind of hard to see but even then we are to discern and prove with Him even the videos.
