Why?

Why is it that I'm just a wicked sinner to your God? I am a fool, a lost dead soul to him. I can do nothing right without him, I can't love anyone unless he shows me how. I'm a wretched creature who thinks evil all day.

If I walked up to you and said that to your face, how would that make you feel. But it's ok that the Bible says that about us. Why?

He looked at me no different that you.
I am a fool, a lost dead soul to him
That includes all of us.

  • If someone is saying this to you, they are no Christian!
  • You have to get past the point of thinking God can't exist, before you understand this. The Bible says these things because God does. But, that does not intimidate me....maybe it used to but doesn't now. I am , in no way, perfect; I was in your shoes once but, it is different now....I wish the same for you!
  • I have just one question....If you are so against God, why do you keep coming back here, asking your questions?

"Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?
Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?" Rom 9:19-21

You want a more detailed explanation? Then talk to your Maker. You seem to think you know the answers better than Him... but here you are talking us who are men as you are men. The difference is that some of us have surrendered or are surrendering ourselves to Him. Although He is all powerful He allows us to choose our own way even if it is against His Way.

I thought I answered that question.

Excuse me, what makes you think I haven't talked to your creator?

Good afternoon CMD;
You would have a case if the Bible was meant to condemn us. Instead, It goes far beyond and provides us the means to change if we want to. We are not born evil although we are prone to it, nor are we born lost souls. We are not created for those purposes. But, we are not born knowing God or His plans for us. It is expected of us to seek them once told, and in response to tell others. His standards are high and impossible for us to please Him on our own. God gives us a way out by grace through our faith in honouring and seeking His will.

Put another way: what would your parents think of you if you treated them with indifference as if they didn't exist? Or, argued against them about whose will takes precedence on their property or in their house? Many people do this every day to God, yet they expect God to treat with them with respect and kindness.

The wickedness part comes into play if we continue to abide in our sinful nature despite knowing better. We become self-righteous answerable only to ourselves in our hypocrisy. A liar does not like being lied to, nor does a thief like being stolen from. God has set up a system that we cannot have it both ways. Therefore, we cannot abide in our own nature apart from God while living a life which pleases God. For those who have been told, it is a deliberate decision. How God handles it is up to Him.

Any thoughts?

A perfect loving being doesn't want or need love from anything or anyone. For it is complete, and 100% fulfilled 100% of time.

He may not even know himself but let me ask all of us including myself this one question.

If the Father sent him here and we are his last chance to leed him back home - Are we being all we can be as a True LIGHT OF GOD'S LOVE FOR HIM?

we need to step back and think about this because his eternity is at stake.
Blessings

So you think you know what perfection is huh? Sounds pretty arrogant to me.
Science would prove that if I have a container that is 100% filled with water, that container can no longer be filled. It's at it maximum capacity and anything added to the container would spill over. When Christians say God is complete and lacks nothing, then how can my love add anything to his fulfilled state.

Science is clueless to anything spiritual. The moment its spoken of in the scientific community, its spoken with disdain. How can you be empirical about spirit? If its possible, science doesnt know how. So when speaking about anything spiritual, please dont even bring up science. Its like using a foot long wooden ruler to measure the depth of the Mariana trench.

Well channelling information by some spirit hasn't allowed any Christian to build a spaceship, or find a cure for any diseases, or made a light bulb.

Good evening CMD;
Correct. The Bible never claims that God is lonely and desperately needs our attention. Instead, it says we were created because He loved us before we were created. In two instances, God saved the world because of one man. Does the love of God create a personal problem? If so, why?

Doesn't you God require that we love him? What for?

Thats because advancement of the human SPIRIT is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much more important than those things, so thats what God focus's on. The human condition (short of the Spirit) is all temporary and those things only add to human knowledge (which is already known to God and will be to us all in spirit some day) and in some sense, time saving devices. The equivalent would be prioritizing everyone doing only what makes us feel good, food and goods production would for the most part would end, and the human race would end due to a combination of starvation, fighting over dwindling stocks, decease from the massive unburied over the globe.

If God required us to love Him, it would not be unconditional and not love. God wants us to know and trust Him more and more (love) or to go our own way and be miserable and make those around us the same. Atheism in govt officials have created more human death than any man or woman of faith. The lack of any backbone of morals (amoral) that are unchanging means that they will slowly progress from trying to be good to do whatever they want as long as it feels good (even if it makes others feel bad or kills them).

Good evening CMD;

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Is love a function of Evolution?

Does God desire our love for Him? Yes. Does He want robots? God could create billions of planets with billions of people each who are programmed to love Him.

Would you prefer your friends want to be friends with you, or would you rather force them? Is the latter situation their love for you, or is it be more about your ego?

One can argue that God forces us, but He does give us a choice. Not all angels will spend eternity in Heaven, so it did not begin with us. God created us to love us. The Tree of Knowledge changed all that in that we were left with a choice to make: our will, or His will. Do you love and desire the ways of God?

I'd prefer people to know me, then I could say they love me.

What guarantee is there that they will love you? What about those who remain ambivalent toward you? Will they be treated equally with those who really do show their love for you?

I've been treated worse by Christian's, the one's who profess they have a spirit of real love.
