What you won't hear from the Health and Wealth Preachers

How do you minister to the needy when you have empty pockets? How do you feed the hungry with no way to buy food..How do you clothe them with no way to buy clothes to share? Lets all be poor and let them freeze in the dark...Good idea? How selfish

Brother, remember Jesus had no yet died, and risen from the dead, so we were at that time part of the world, but Jesus in his prayer to his Father spoke his faith, and declared that we to are not of this world, or of it!!!

John 15:19 If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

John 17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

John 17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

We are or should be a part of what God is building without hands. Any of the "old man" of us that still struggles for the dominion of us eventually needs to be killed. Jesus came so that it would possible for this to happen. But that doesn't related directly to our need for or our lack of need for worldly and/or material riches, does it? Material riches are not in themselves evil things for they were also created by God. God created everything and He created it all "very good" [Gen 1:31] and as long as our purpose is "very good", are we not OK?

Our "stuff" which is only temporary is nothing, and that it will perish with its using. Although these things are temporary, we still need them to live, and to accomplish the will of God.

We need what God says we need when He says He needs it. For example He needed the three Hebrews in Dan 3 to be thrown in the fiery furnace and survive. On the other hand He needed Stephen in Acts 7 to be stoned to natural death. If our work here is not finished no one can kill our bodies for we are protected as Job was protected before the hedge was removed.

Don't forget this world will be destroyed by fire, and God will once again renew it, and it will last forever, as this will be the place of his Heavenly city.

The only world that ultimately needs to concern us is the world our own individual flesh. What we have is part of our stewardship from God and we must take care of it as best we can until and/or if He advises us differently.

Labor not for meat that parish, but for the meat that leads to everlasting life.
You might want to read this scripture again, and read all of it to see what Jesus was really saying.

John 6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
John 6:28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
John 6:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

The "meat" that these people are to labor for is, "that you believe (have faith in) on him (Jesus) whom God hath sent."

How are you planning on getting anything from the Lord if you don't know what the Lord has promised in his Word? You can not!!! How can you "believe" if you don't know what he has already given? You have to know in his Word "first" in his promises before you can believe in it, as that is where faith (believe) comes from?

The things that the truly "needy" need more than anything else is God. Remember the widow who had only "two mites" [Mark 12:42]? She gave her all and what did Jesus say about her?

"Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:" Mark 12:43

That lady did not stop to consider how her own material "needs" were going to be met. Probably God gave her something or perhaps her gift was the end of her "course".

What the "needy" need more than anything is their physical needs taken care of "first"!!!! If this is not the first priority, how can the love of God dwell in that person?

1John 3:17 But if anyone has this world's goods (resources for sustaining life) and sees his brother and fellow believer in need, yet closes his heart of compassion against him, how can the love of God live and remain in him?(AMP)

Did you notice? Jesus fed the hungry..Why?

18 Children, let us love not with words and talk, but with actions and in reality!

My brother, you will never convince anyone that God will take care of them when you are poor too....You gotta show them! If you want to talk the talk you have to walk the walk...anything less and they won't listen.

I believed without seeing and behold I see. I believed without hearing and behold I hear.
As you have believed, so be it unto you.

As you have believed, so be it unto you.
What are you believing in? You must first know the "promises" of God before you can have faith to believe in anything. Believing is NOT just believing, Faith (believing) comes from the Word of God not our wishful thinking.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
This means you first must know the Word of God before you can have faith for anything. All the promises of God are received by faith, and this includes every thing that pertains to life (stuff needed for living on earth), and Godliness. (spiritual understanding)

Every man is given a measure of Faith...who gave it to HIM? And the measure was given before we knew Him.
It was Faith in God and His promises that I cried out to Him; if I Come to Him with a repentant heart I had Faith that He would save me. Seeking Him, He opened the Word to me and How great His light does shine.

Sister, you should know from the scriptures that every thing God gives us is by faith, and it does not just automatically fall out of the sky on us.
If one does not believe God is able, no, that one will most likely not have a "falling out of the sky" experience.

Faith is NOT all inclusive, which means having faith for salvation is not the same faith needed to bring healing or having faith to meet your needs. You can have faith in one area of your life, and have "zero" faith in others!!! You might see by faith in some areas, and be completely blind in others. Each and every "promise" contained in the scriptures brings it own "separate" faith, and grace. You can NOT take saving faith and use in other areas in your life, it was designed only for salvation. If you want God to provide other needs in your life then you must find those promises and extract the faith they give, or you will not get any of them fulfilled in your life until you do!!!

Knowing God is "able" is not enough to get anything. Is God "willing" is another story. His willing is based on our faith that he will, and has already!!
