Hell and Christianity

1. then he would get up early in the morning and offer burnt offerings for each of them, because Iyov said, “My sons might have sinned and blasphemed God in their thoughts This is what Iyov did every time. (Right here!) Job was living in FEAR....Fear is the opposite of faith...Well...not really.. Faith is believing that God will do as HE SAYS...Fear is believing in the harm that Satan can do to you..

2. Romans 14:23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

3. As James says "Job never blamed God for his problems..He always held God in reverential respect.(He feared God) But he did have his weakness..Fear.
1. Job feared God. The wise fear God. Prov 14:16 'The wise fear the Lord and shun evil'. Job was hence wise. Not....low on faith  .

You really are stretching for mud against job with this. Your statement and insinuation is like Jim's, rather unbelievable.

2. We should start a new thread on the nuance's of faith in scriptures we quote. The way you are manipulating that scripture out of context implies that you believe faith in faith is something a Christian should have. No, Bendito. Believing our stand alone faith is anything to be commemorated is borderline satanism.

A Christian cannot doubt. A Christian ''must'' believe God is Heb 11:6. Peter never '''doubted'' after he knew who Jesus was Matt 16:16-17. He would not have sunk if he knew God of the universe was talking to him on the water. As I have explained to you before...Paul differentiated between those professing to be saved VS those not professing to be saved. Not saved VS unsaved.

3. o_O.

The irony of not talking. I should refuse to talk to you 3 because you deal with my God on a promise basis and propose He is going to be eternally cruel to His enemies. IE I think you have mistaken God for satan. Satan deals with his children on a promise basis and would definitely be cruel to us for eternity if he had the opportunity

The above is cut from what you said. Bro you are talking as a one who speaks foolishness for truth. You have no real or at least very little spiritual understanding and revelational knowledge to claim such junk as you have here.

Hebrews 6:13-20New Living Translation (NLT) ... easier for you to grasp

God’s Promises Bring Hope

13 For example, there was God’s promise to Abraham. Since there was no one greater to swear by, God took an oath in his own name, saying:

14 “I will certainly bless you,
and I will multiply your descendants beyond number.”[a]

15 Then Abraham waited patiently, and he received what God had promised.

16 Now when people take an oath, they call on someone greater than themselves to hold them to it. And without any question that oath is binding.

17 God also bound himself with an oath, so that those who received the promise could be perfectly sure that he would never change his mind.

18 So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us.

19 This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.

20 Jesus has already gone in there for us. He has become our eternal High Priest in the order of Melchizedek.

Now then Kj once you understand how sacred and trustworthy our covenant with God is and how serious God takes this covenant with us you may begin to learn some things. This will also require understanding the importance of and binding a covenant really is.

Gods word and promises are His covenant with us. He is big bound unto them for God had nothing higher them Himself to sware by so He swore by all the honor of His name for we know God Can NOT and WILL NOT LIE.

Part of honoring this covenant between God and our selves is knowing what His word says. This is done through time spent with Him and changing how we think in order to think as God thinks.

kj you trade the renewing of your mind unto the ways of God for your own witts. This is why you refuse the truth when you hear it. Relying on your brains bro is not going to cut it in the kingdom of God.

Do as you wish and believe what you want for it is your free right to do so under Gods grace and the free will you have been given.
God Bless

It takes no renewing of the mind to read sweet promises to the Jews and hold God to them as though they are for us. It does take renewing of the mind to understand that God wants us to move on from the old covenant manner in dealing with Him.

If we are going to be pedantic, take careful note of what the promise to Abraham was. ..''many descendants''. You have a big family?

Paul had to explain to all properly that being in Christ = chosen race = promise to Abraham fulfilled. The Jews for the most part did not want to lose out on being part of God's promised race. For centuries they were. Try understand that. 42 generations from Abraham to Jesus. Hence Jews today who are not Christian will still be shown favor in the tribulation. This section from Paul is very crucial for them and us to understand.

That's a interesting way to phrase it. We are saved because we believe in Jesus/God.

Yes and No.

The devils believe James 2:19.

What we have to believe is that Jesus is Lord. We can only believe this by the Holy Spirit 1 Cor 12:3. The Holy Spirit only comes in / gives us a revelation if we pass examination Jer 17:10.

God only draws near to us if we draw near to Him James 4:8. Repeating magical lines / 'believing' + positive thought + repeating scripture over and over is NOT drawing closer to Jesus.

Drawing closer to Jesus = Psalm 51:17, Rom 12:9, James 1:27, Matt 16:24.

Kj,
Why yes it does and I wish I could shut it off. It keeps changing words and such and it is temporary for I have a new keyboard coming. Thanks for asking.

1...The scriptures I posted to you were to show you how God honors His word and you missed it.
2...The promises to Abraham or the blessings of Abraham are ours and this is written in the NT.
3...The descendant part is not physical but spiritual or another words we as born again believers are Abraham's Descendants.
4...These blessings or promises are to us and this is NT. This stuff about only for Jews And we are Not super Jews is showing your take on Gods word is done through normal carnal thinking or human reasoning and understanding.

As to your renewing of the mind in Christ - it is allowing Gods word to change the way we think so we can think as He does and operate according to His word. This should open up your thinking and show you that Gods way can not be grasped by your human brains alone. It is foolish to rely on our own understanding of Gods word and ways and claim understanding. That my friend will not cut it in the here and now and won't cut it in heaven either.

Try these scriptures out and put them into Practice and see if it does not change your life.

Galatians 5:16 and Romans 12:2 and 2 Corinthians 10:4-5

Romans 12:2 ....
And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God

(( Get His word in you each and every day and speak His word each and every day ))

2 Corinthians 10:4-5
4... For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to pulling down strong holds
5... Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

(( Begin to practice the words you speak and thoughts you think for our thoughts and words to control how we act or react and believe. Our own words do more do influence our thinking then most of everything else. ))

Galatians 5:16
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh

(( The more you do the first two the more you will begin to walk in the Spirit and you will be amazed to say the least. ))

All done through the Grace of God who maketh all grace abound to me. ( 2 Corinthians 9:8 )

Blessings and love in Christ

1. Google more then the dictionary.
2. Any vision that conflicts with scripture is from the devil. Normally the first page reveals heresy. What book on hell do you actually believe is true?
3. Book sales have everything to do with it. If I was given a vision I would freely give as I freely received.
4. 100% cynic on this and most of what you believe, yes .

1. I check with the word for meaning of words, mostly. Brimstone is sulphur. If you take a trip to the desert where Sodom and Gomorrah once thrived, you will find thousands and thousands of partially spent sulphur pellets---or should I say brimstone that fell like rain upo9n the cities of the plain?

2. God gives people all kinds of dreams and visions which He alone can interpret through His Holy Spirit. Nothing He sends us goes against scripture. I believe the bible on hell. God does reinforce what He teaches in His word in His people by visions and dreams.

3. Only a cynical mind would look to money as a way of denying what God is doing in and for His people.

4. Of course, not surprised in the least. Of course, you won't mind my cynicism of your outlook which opposes almost everything that is true in the word of God.
