I'm so glad to be a part of your community. Already this site has lifted my spirit by some of the stories I have read. There are so many people of God here. I am working though living with Multiple Sclerosis. Everyday is a chore to survive I must say, but if not for knowing that Jesus is with me through this, I would have take the bridge years ago.

I was saved in 2012, praises to the Lord, and my life I feel is worth something now when in the past I didn't feel that way. I was in a very painful situation some years back by a botched surgery that caused nerve damage to my right arm and my right lung was nicked. When nerves decide to fire off when damaged the pain is unbelievable. For me I had about 4 hours of screaming and thrashing about,(that is usually how long it lasted) clawing at my ears and my chest acting as if I had Tourette syndrome.

To try and make a long story short these episodes came with no warning, my caregiver (Chet) and I called it the Thing. Praise be to him for sticking with me though this. There was no medical name for what I had. Doctor's could not say exactly what was wrong with me, only saying that this might be coming from your nerve damage. What were found to help me after numerous trips to the ER were massive doses of benedryl up to 300ml plus sometimes, and I had to be packed in ice because cold seemed to help the itching feeling. So I could be driving and this thing would come upon me. So with this thing attacking me when ever it wanted, and me being practically comatose from so much benedryl it seemed to work, but took days to relieve, and caused me to lose my job. I was relieved of my job while out on short-term disability.

So living with the THING, and Multiple Sclerosis, I had no desire to live. One day while I was screaming in my bedroom going through an episode with the door closed so Chet could not hear me I said to myself why am I still alive? Why have I not taken my life by now this is just way too much for one person to go though? How come I seem to be strong enough to keep going on though this? These episodes lasted for four years before they finally subsided. Something said to me it must be God. When the word God was mentioned I remember in my brain I concentrated on the word God and a smile came on my face while I was having an episode.

God is with me! That's why. Praise be to God for identifying Himself too me. Since then my life has been dedicated to trying to live a life that He would be proud of. I found a church to join, and became a member, and baptized by the spirit, and have never been so happy.I have been with the church for three years Hallelujah. We presently are Reading the bible from Genesis to Revelation in a one-year bible. The title of the book is The MacArthur Daily Bible by John MacArthur. I love it. I love reading the love letters from the Lord to his people.

One of my favorite scriptures is Romans 5:3-5 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Thank you for my invite Talk Jesus you are the icing on my cake.
