the new heart the we receive, the new creation that we are, the new man that i am... is one that desire to please God. where as formerly i was a slave to sin, and considered the things of Christ to be undesirable, now as a new creation i desire to please God and to draw near to Christ.

becoming a new creation does not make me perfect or sinless, but it makes me desire perfection and sinlessness. being a new creation does make me Christ, but it makes me desire to be like Christ. only then, by the power of The Holy Spirit, can i start to live for God.

but the life of the born-again believer is not one of sinless perfection. it is one of constant struggle. but the power of God is at work in us to “make us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image” (2 corinthians 3:18)

we are not instantly transformed into Christ's exact image, but through Christ living inside of us, we start to become more and more like Him.

our own hearts, we can not trust. our own minds deceive us. but The Holy Spirit of Christ, that we can rely on.
and He mainly speaks to us through His Word.
His entire Word, rightly divided, precept upon precept.

That was beautiful man,that's why I;m here because exploring the things of God is fun.
I just love sorting and exploring and listening and seeing new things.
I suspect this might be boring to some folks..

I agree completely but there is another way to look at it.
John 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him

These two verses show us that something is coming but "now is".
.In John 4:23 the "now is" could be explained away but the term as used in John 5:25
"Now" is eternal because it has no beginning and no end,always was and always will be
So from the viewpoint of heavenly places it's always eternity, it is always "now".
From a flesh stand point we can see things in time and space and since we have a future we can indeed screw up.

But "now" no,no "now",,um "now"...
Sorry I can't catch "now" because it's eternal.
So from a flesh standpoint now is always changing faster than I can say now.
but if I forget time and space and believe that the real me is the one in heaven suddenly "now" is eternal or forever.
So if my heart is right "now" then I must be thinking from the eternal seat of Christ.
Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

The new creature is the one seated in heaven but is also come down(new birth) but is in heaven.
As far as I can tell you don't go there unless you come from there.
That is who we really are because God says so not because it makes sense.

So from a time-bound standpoint I agree with your statement completely and I am only offering an option that I find throughout scripture.

we are already in the kingdom of God, but we are not yet in the kingdom of Heaven.
theologians call this the "already but not yet"
Brother Travis just did a great job of explaining this in relation to sanctification.
we are three things=
1)we are saved.
2)we are being saved
3)we are waiting to be saved

You said in another thread that there can be space outside of space.

furthermore, who is to say how many atoms are in the entire universe? anyone who claims to know this number is either lying or deceived. no one can know what they don't know. scientists may have been able to observe a certain area of space, but that does not mean that there is not space outside of that space.

I agree with that statement and would say there is possibly space within space.
It's no stretch then to consider that since time is relative to other factors that there could be time outside of time.
The time we experience in dreams is relative to a space within space and that space has time within time.
So there can be time or something else outside of time.

3)we are waiting to be saved

i was only saying that that the size of the universe could be infnitely larger than what modern scientists believe
