Do Nothing Christianity

The Apostle Paul said that he "labored more than them all", referring to all the other Apostles.But then he said, "it was I but the grace that was with me..." God alone does the "works of Faith", as long as we have true faith.

1Cor 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

We can debate where the works come from.. from Him or from us... but without works faith is dead.
The point is works are needed. Who initiates the works is another debate.
If salvation is grace alone... then why aren't the people in Matt 7:21-23 saved?

No, clearly faith is a gift from God and not a work of man!
Romans 12:3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.
Brother, how can faith be a work when it is given to you by God?
By faith Noah built an ark,
by faith Abraham offered up Isaac
by faith Rahab hid the spies
by faith Moses left Egypt and refused to be called Pharoahs daughter.

Faith is tested. 1 Pet 1:7; it isn't God's faith that is tested, it is ours.
Proof of faith is required for salvation.

The problem is not in works as there must be works that prove we have faith. The problem is in who is doing them us or God? If it us then were are completely deceived in how faith works, which is why Jesus said to these people, "I never knew you". They thought they were saved because of their works.

We have to always remember Jesus said, "without me you can do nothing" Me, being the Word of God. Without the Word of God and having faith in that Word none of these people could have done anything. God is the one who watches over his Word to perform it.

Jeremiah 1:12 (AMP) says, “Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it.”

Those people aren't saved precisely because they thought that good works would do the job.

Our salvation is a work of God by His GRACE, alone. Our works are the natural result of that grace we have received. so, the scriptures are correct that if our works to not attest to the transformation in us by Holy Spirit indwelling, then our so-called faith is a dead faith. Only a living faith through salvation produces works that are empowered by God Himself and will reach to do what He has willed them to do, producing great results.

God said, and Jesus said also (if we're differentiating between God and the Word of God which indeed came in the flesh, therefore becoming, and having always been and always intended to be God [not that there's any difference between saying you are while intentionally not saying you aren't and, for lack of a better or simply more homosexually SENSITIVE word, allowing others their free will to believe or not believe you when you speak and believe themselves what they've heard and seen, while believing and not believing you when they choose; that's what Jesus, the son of man, the Word of God did and I refuse to allow this response to be read in any way other than with the knowledge and realization that I have the utmost respect for God and his one true offspring and nothing in this passage is said in a way that allows for interpretation. This entire response is specifically to the above quoted response but should be read in a way that excludes compassion for all sinners, herewith mentioned.] ...continued from before brackets...then I've mentioned them both here to display, through text, my refusal to worship idols, accept the idea of partners with god, and not recognize or accept God in the flesh, in his own true form.)...continued from before parentheses...I am that I am, I am the way, the word, and the light. He (They) also said all sinners and the unrighteous (and the immoral because in today's world the term immoral is being further and further distanced from homosexuality and other things like it, but I digress) would not inherit the kingdom of God. Only those that walk in the way and by the way, in the light and by the light and I am it. However, and this is the most disturbing facet of Christianity today; churches, church members, and politicians take what what Jesus didn't say and fill in the blanks with ideas and assumptions that as time changes, so do the words of Jesus, so do God's words. God and Jesus and even Jesus apostles and disciples (in their letters) state explicitly that this isn't true. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow; My words will never disappear; many false prophets will come claiming to speak for me; for any of those in the nations that want to be one of my people and follow in my ways keep the law and the sabbath day; the law is for sinners, not righteous people; every bit of the law will be kept, or held to the end. Salvation is for those that dedicate themselves to God in everything they do because God has provided a way to exist even among the nations in all there godlessness. God said, I will deliver them (in this case the nations and their people) into the hands of their enemies, but he also says (through Jesus) give to ceasar (Rome) what is ceasars, and to God what is God's. You are God's own, he is the one and only, the creator and you must love him with all your heart because there is none other but him and he is the only worthy of praise, hence my refusal to worship idols. Therefore, God preaches freedom among the nations, not freedom among religion; you can change what the nations do and say, but God does not change. Salvation, eternal life, is for his people, not the nations; in scripture this idea reads as my people among the nations or my people from among the nations, and God said himself that he would gather his people from among the nations numerous times and it is also said that the messiah would do that. So in terms of salvation for those people and how to achieve it, it can not be earned and God, Jesus, and his disciples all said the same thing and made similar arguments as toward that fact. God knows all things and already knows those elect. Everyone else must repent that their redemption in hell will be swift and painless because God said, the second death will have no power over those that are raised in the first resurrection; those that hate their life will keep it forever and those that love their life will lose it; everyone must pick up their cross and carry it; I am going to kill every living thing on earth (Zechariah, for relevance because its near the end, not the beginning where he talks about the flood); those that are holy must go on being holy, filthy must go on being filthy (Revelation 22); I will live with them and I will be their god and they will see my face; I will weigh their sins against their good works and decide judgment; my messiah, my servant will do all these things and more.

Wow, can you say, "run-on sentence"? LOL!

Question:
1) What is a "homosexually SENSITIVE" word?

2) So, what is it that you have a problem with in my post?

There is no redemption in hell, and the suffering will not be pain-free for anyone who finds himself there. NOT ONE PASSAGE OF SCRIPTURE EVEN SLIGHTLY ALLUDES TO IT, and that you are declaring it, you have now contravened your own words:: "this is the most disturbing facet of Christianity today; churches, church members, and politicians take what what Jesus didn't say and fill in the blanks with ideas and assumptions that as time changes, so do the words of Jesus, so do God's words."

Those people aren't saved precisely because they thought that good works would do the job.

That would probably be because Jesus said so.

22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’
23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’
24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock.
26 Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.
27 The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.”

Do the verses above say "believe" on them, or do they say "act" on them. What exactly where the words he was talking about in Matt 7?
Does he say depart from because they didn't believe the right things, or because they practiced lawlessness?

That would probably be because Jesus said so.

Believing is acting, as Jesus said, "this is the "work" of God that you believe on him whom God has sent" Believe on him whom? The Word.
"Hearing" the Words of mine is being led by the Holy Spirit. It is the Spirit of God brings to our remembrance what Jesus has said. We never just pick up and go when ever we want to. You NEVER after reading Jesus saying, "go into all the world and preach the Gospel" Then jump on a jet and go to Africa and preach the Word. It is by the Holy Spirit these things can be done. When you just do them when it is convenient for you, the only thing you are doing is "iniquity" which is what these people who Jesus said "he never knew" were doing!

That would probably be because Jesus said so.

Jesus told them to depart from Him because He didn't know them. In other words, He had no intimacy or relationship with them. Therefore, their works amounted to nothing, and because they were performance-driven and not faith-driven, they were actually works of lawlessness. Nothing more than building one's house on sand, rather than the Rock---another thing Jesus spoke about.

It's funny I don't see that anywhere in the sermon on the mount (Matt 5, 6 and 7).
He talks about about things like commandments Matt 5:19; murder, Matt 5:21; adultery 5:27; divorce Matt 5:31; false vows Matt 5:33;
Loving your neighbor Matt 5:43; forgiving others Matt 6:14-15; treating other people the way you want to be treated Matt 7:12;
... then He mentions those who practice lawlessness... In Matt 7:24-27 He talks about those who DO (act) on His words, and those who don't.
No where in the entire sermon on the mount does he mentions those who "believe" on my words.

Rom 2:13; Jas 1:22-23; Jas 1:25;

Rom 2:13; Jas 1:22-23; Jas 1:25;
Mat 22:35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
Mat 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.

The greatest of ALL commandments is to love the Lord your God with all they heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
In another place Jesus said,....

Mat 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Without even getting to the "first" commandment, you first have to love God with every part of your being!!

What does it mean to love God? If you really love God you will believe every Word he says, and have total faith in them.
What happens to the man who has faith in Gods Word? That faith causes the Word in which he believes in to "work"
Why could not Jesus do "works" within in his own home town?

Mat 13:57 And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.
Mat 13:58 And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

Jesus can not "work" when there is no faith. Who was Jesus? the Word of God!!! Who does the "works" of faith. Jesus does (the Word)

So you've never committed a sin since you've been saved? Ever? You are perfect?

What does that have to do with what is being talked about?
Jesus and your faith drives everything you do? You can do nothing on your own?
You can't make decisions on your own now that you're saved? You can't make mistakes? You can't sin?

Or can we still do wrong things sometimes even though we believe in Jesus and have faith?

Brother can Christ that is in you ever sin?

1Jn 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Does a Christian ever sin? He sure does. Spiritual grow is about Jesus in me increasing, while I am decreasing. The increased part is Jesus Christ and he can never sin!!!
Can the Word of God that works through a believer ever sin? Absolutely not!!
The only thing I can do on my own is "iniquity" which is sin!!

So you can do some things on your own after all. Even sin sometimes.

How do you which things are sin? Cursing? Adultery? Murder? Getting on a plane to Africa?

Anything that is not of faith is sin. Anything I do that does comes from faith, which comes from the Word of God is sin every time.
