You cant even be worried about your spouse or children. If you have that worry you dont have the true love of God in you.
If you have anything on earth left that we will regret leaving, you havent got your love right yet. Mate, children, money, property, books, prosperity, parents. To obtain salvation you must crucify all your emotions and feelings in obedience to the Word of God. You must bring every thought in your mind to the obedience of Jesus. One thing I like about your posts, is that there is a lot of scripture. Perhaps even too much at once. Personally when I use a lot of scripture, I usually try to break my posts down
into several smaller messages. Sometimes I have a hard time following what the purpose of these verses is. Perhaps a little more commentary of the point you are trying to make

Some of these verses are quite different from the translations I have. I do not have a NKJV translation, perhaps I should get one.

For example In the verse above "antitype" generally means "the opposite of". The translations I have use the word "symbol" which would not be "the opposite of" but rather
"a substitute representing" something.

For I through the old testament law of sin and death died to the law of sin and death in the old testament that I might live to God through the law of Christ. in the new testament.
