Personally I think David Jeremiah is wrong, and that they'll prophesy in the second half of the Tribulation, put it this way, because I'm a Mid Triber I won't be waiting for them to step up as a sign for the beginning of Tribulation.
For me it's the 7 year peace treaty in the Middle East, is this guy a false prophet trying to make us look for things that won't be there?... I think so.

I'm a Preterist. I don't agree with David Jeremiah. I believe the Two Witnesses are not actually people but is figuratively for the Law and Prophets.

Gee I don't know about that, plain language is plain language, I take it literal unless the words are obvious symbolism, otherwise you learn nothing.

Says who? There are alot of things that Christ said that the leaders of his day took literal when Christ meant figuratively. There is no written rule in scripture that says you must take this literal. Everything in scripture should be taken literal, but literal in what way. Poetry should be taken literal in a different way then historical. Prophecy should be taken literal in a different way than poetry.

If I tell you, "You're on fire." What is my meaning? You are saying something or doing something great? or Is your body being consumed by a flame? You would have to know the context of why I said that, wouldn't you? Place any of the prophecy in context and you may see a different meaning. I place the prophecy of the two witness in context of the whole of scripture not just the book of Revelation chapter 11.

Does it sound like symbolic language to you?.....doesn't to me!......I guess each to his own, have fun with it then.
