Hello from Missouri (USA) pt. 2!

Hey everyone.

Guess I should've made my own thread instead of commenting on a different thread in the new people forum. Oh well, I was a practicing Catholic for many years throughout my childhood. I began my journey without religion around the middle of high school. Currently I'm working as a geologist and physicist, or a geo-physicist to some, I am intrigued by religion, but cannot legitimize the theory of god/gods. I'm not looking for arguments, but I would like to clear up some misconceptions I may have about religion, as well as possibly clear up some misconceptions some may have pertaining to my fields.

This is a forum to talk, discuss, learn about or anything pertaining to Jesus Christ. You can be a non-believer who is seeking but a anti-Jesus trying to push that agenda will not last long here.
Glad you are not looking for arguments, that is a bonus and there are plenty here that will be more than glad to introduce you to Jesus Christ and the rest is up to you and God ( what we call the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob)...not Allah, Budda or any other God.

Well.............we're not talking religion either...........at least most of the time.

We're talking Jesus!

I'd like to think that we're talking probabilities here.
I have a family member who is an astrophysicist, yet also believes in Jesus Christ as his Savior. Much of what he has to say, goes..................:baffle: no smiley for over my head!
Still as a scientist and to be a believer in these days can be rather dangerous for ones career. Just as in previous eras to not believe could be as well.

Anyway. You should find some very interesting discussions here at TJ.

However when its all said and done, I Hope and pray that one day, I, we may be able to call you a Brother in Christ.

P.S. If you can get a hold of it try reading "The Long War Against God" by Dr. Henry Morris. Part science (mostly baffles me), part with theology (understanding some). Does cover some geology in his discourse.
