Unbelief

The cross is empty because Christ finished his work there, once and for all but the cross is meaningless with out the resurrection because with out it, we would still be dead to our sins.

I think it would be more accurate to say that permanent, unyielding refusal to believe despite overwhelming evidence is the unpardonable sin. That's why Jesus told the Pharisees in Jn 8:24 that they would die in their sin.

Yep, permanent ( unto death), unyielding refusal to believe would do it!

And now we as brothers and sisters have reasoned together on Gods word and have found a way to present Gods word in agreement ! As I said iron sharpens iron. To the Glory of God .....Rev

I want to know how you explain : " but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.”

I would think it is pretty self explainatory. "speaks against the Holy Spirit" An example of this would possibly be if you saw a micacle done by the Holy Ghost and you say its of the devil, that would probably be blasphemous. I have also heard it taught you cant blaspheme the Holy Ghost until the antichrist gets here although i dont know how valid that is and dont know why one would even think about speaking against the Holy Spirit. I mean what harm has the Holy spirit ever done anyone.

That question was for someone else up the thread.
For what I know, God says you will be forgiven for any sin, except the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit or, you die in you unbelief, rejecting the gift of the Holy Spirit in you and ultimately God.....everything else can be forgiven.

Nobody doesn't believe in God. They just haven't been inlightened
there's no such thing as a aitheist in a fox-hole
