Hello! Brand new here! I found this website last night as I was searching for a quality place to find fellow Christians to fellowship with! I will be married for ten years in February and I am a momma of four kids aged 9, 7, 5, and 3. This is my 14th year teaching, but my first year teaching 3rd grade (I taught 2nd grade for 11 years). I have been a Christian for 32 years or so, but strayed far far away a few times. A year and a half ago, after a soul-searching talk with my pastor, I got very serious about my sweet Jesus and my life has changed dramatically since then. I think I finally "get it," although it is only by God's grace that I am able to be the person I am. I would love to share my testimony sometime.

hello from Oklahoma City, shellbell we welcome youre fellowship and youre profession of FAITH ! There is a room here for youre testimony so please feel free to post it ,we all have a story of what God has brought us through and to. I look forward to seeking youres :shade: 2014 looks to be quite a challange for us but with God all things are possible ....REV

Thank you Rev! If I get a few moments today (four kids...plus it being New Year's Eve) I would love to share my testimony. If not, I will very soon! I just know that when people ask me how I can really believe that God exists, I tell them what I've gone through and how much I've changed, and that I could never have done that on my own! He is amazing!

Looking forward to you're sharing .we serve just a mighty God and the world has no idea ! Sad .
i was once a scoffer myself so I can tell you God sees what we just can't without His vision of the cross and the love He has for us ( not had ) many since I have came to the site have been led by the Lords own hand .wait till you read the testimonies ,theres even a thread posted a few months back " how did you find talk Jesus " pretty amazing how The Lord moves to put His people together .blessings in the new year to come to you and youres ...Rev

Greetings @ShellBell

Welcome to Talk Jesus

Enjoy the online fellowship.

I also have 4 young children....so I understand how difficult it can be to grab even a few moments online.

May the Lord bless as you continue to grow in His love and grace

Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Jude 1:24-25

Welcome aboard ShellBell!
If you're not on often, we understand! You've definitely have your hands fulls with those 4 young ones!
At least as a teacher you've gained skills that allow you to handle four times that number.
If it hadn't been for God's continued work in the lives of my family, the two who are grown now, would have placed me in a rocking chair long ago.

Any help we can be in talk, prayer, or just plain fellowship, you've found the right site in TJ.
By the way, so glad you got "serious"! :clapping:
I hope you will always remember that no matter how far you have strayed, you were never truly alone! He was always there waiting.

Once again be welcome.

Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, [39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Wow! I have actually got that scripture above (okay just the Romans 8:38-39 part--not the entire verse) tattooed with the word "Grace" on my arm. It serves as a reminder that no matter how far away I went (and I went far), nothing could separate me from God's love. How amazing that you quoted it in your reply to me. It is my favorite verse! I was actually going to include it in my signature eventually!!

Thanks so much for the kind words. I hope you all have a wonderful new year! God bless!
