No a Christian can never lose his salvation. A person who claims to be a Christian and lives like the world was probably never saved. When Christ died on the cross it was for all of our sins not just the ones we have done up till the moment we believe. He died for all my and future sins. But that doesn't mean I can sin with no remorse, no. When we sin and we realize we sin we should repent of that sin. It should pain us when we sin. If you stop talking to God and confessing your sin it probably means you were never saved.

Roms6:1-4 1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

There is no relationship between becoming a Christian through accident of birth or other natural means and salvation by personally revealed KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS CHRIST, strictly in accordance with the thoughts and ways of God.

The difference is knowable. The former represents the dead end of RELIGION, a.k.a., Christianity; and the latter SACRED FAITH which is sustainable for eternity.

listed as whose mother was
each woman is in a different time period
each time period brings out an issue
each issue is addressed by Jesus
as the son of man

the christian is the one whom is kinsman redeemed
he\she had believed Jesus to be lord , savoir , kinsman redeemer
undoing what Adam and Eve did in their unbelief in the garden

the christian loses his life ; to save his life
baptism;
goes into the water and dies "the old man" flesh and soul
and comes out of the water "the new creation" soul joined with the holy spirit
thus; family with God has been restored ( soul joined with the holy spirit)

unpardonable sin;
to blaspheme the holy spirit { or walk away from} becomes unpardonable
in the fact that the flesh has already died in reaching this stage
leaving nothing left to be kinsman redeemed
thus ; it is unpardonable

we see this in the statement
having been swept clean
seven demons more in
and the fate of the man is worse than before

this speaks to running the race
finishing the race
staying in the restored family of God

so can it be done ?
it is not done by sins of the flesh
for the flesh is no longer controlling the fate of the soul
it would take having the holy spirit and refusing to follow

This subject seems to one of the most favorite among many of us sister Denise!! There are so many scriptures so many can give pro and con to this question! So rather then debate this subject I will present to you one area of scripture and you can judge for yourself! ( matt 13:19-23) Please do read all of matt 13 because of all the parables ever spoken by our Jesus, I believe this one is my favorite! Here we see sis 4 people receiving the same Word,but four different responses to it.verse 19 No response. but no response is a response! 2. Emotional response verse 20-21 this person hears the word and immediately receives it with great joy, and even walks in it for a time!!So see they receive it! verse 21 but have no firm root in himself, but is only temporary,but notice they do indeed believe! But when afflction or persecution arises because of the Word he falls away.

How can you fall away unless you have first believed? Many say they never believed to start with,but as we see from the Word itself,it clearly says they did believe. 3. the worldly response This man hears, but the worry of this world and the deceitfulness of wealth chokes the Word and it become unfruitful.But there was some fruit to start with sis! For how can fruit become unfruitful if you never had any to start with? And finally those of us here who have a lasting fruitful response! Depending on far one is willing to follow! these are saved! For all here believe,and there actions show there confession!! ( rom 10:9-13) and james 1:22!!

SO!! from this parable 1 out of every four who claim to be believers, are believers! I judge no one in which area each of us are presently in,but your life tells us where we are at. A radical statement that many will not like, but its true never the less. No one goes to hell because of sin!! Jesus paid for all sins for all people! They go to hell because of there unbelief in what Jesus has already done for all of us! And they live there life according to what they truly do believe! The only work not covered by Jesus blood is the freedom for all of us to believe!( rev 21:8)

If you hold fast to John 13:34 then you are truly disciples of our Lord Jesus! This is why we must stay in God's word daily!!! And in prayer daily!!For sis to me it is as Samuel said, it is a sin for me not to pray!( 1 sam 12:23) From the garden of Eden,the enemy has always looked to cause one to acquire unbelief! The sin of Adam was not in partaking of the fruit,his greatest sin was his unbelief in what the Lord first told him! He choose to believe his wife over the Lord!!( gen 3:17) he ate because of his unbelief! ( Luke 11:28) blessed are they who hear the word of God and keep it! for those who do are sealed!!! ( eph 1:11-14)But to be sealed you must believe you are sealed!

How is it that Jesus himself being God in the flesh could not heal many people in his own town?? We know in Luke 1:37 nothing is impossible for him!! But we are required to do something as well sis!! ( mark 6:4-6!!) verse 6 and he wondered!! at there unbelief! We here have no more faith or any less faith then our early father Abraham did!( rom 12:3) ( acts 10:34) The difference with Abraham and many of us, is the fact he had more belief then many here! In our walk we can go from this point in our walk sis.( mark 9:23-24) I sure have! But as we stay in the word,and learn to endure,we then move to this!! ( mark 5:35-36!!) We know when we get here,because Jesus shows us the results of our belief!! As I spoke on this before with my own mother! ONLY!!!! BELIEVE!!! amen! May this both bless you and comfort you in always having and keeping the true joy of believing!! ( rom 15:13) amen!

Now aside from the prophetic information this verse gives, the "falling away" spoken of by Paul comes from the Greek word ἀποστασία apostasia ap-os-tas-ee’-ah, from which we get words such as apostasy, apostate, and apostatize. The word in Greek is the feminine for the word ap-os-tas’-ee-on which means divorce. One cannot go through a divorce except there is at first a favourable relationship. Nor can one "fall away"unless he is somewhere that he may fall away from. The particular falling away Paul speaks of came soon after his life here was over, and involved not just the odd individual Christian, but almost the entire church. Brighthouse gave the reason for this particular falling away...the love of power, wealth, and worldly prestige. The small remnant that remained faithful were persecuted relentlessly by the apostate church, but survived in the very same manner we may avoid falling away...a love of the truth, constant prayer, fostering a missionary zeal, shunning the attractions and temptations of the world, and of course above all, cleaving to Jesus.

I believe this sums it up as accurately as you'll find in the bible as for pretend-Christians.

As for Christians who received the Holy Spirit, this is what else the bible says.

Hebrews 13:5
Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.

You believe you can lose your salvation? Then you could never get it back.

Hebrews 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Salvation is not a thing that God gives you salvation is the Savior Himself. We lose our salvation if we lose the Savior. So the question should not be "can you lose your salvation", but can you lose your Savior?

Do you feel a Christian can lose their salvation?

There are some verses in Paul's letter to the Romans that strongly suggest that the
Gentiles must continue in 'God's kindness'. Failure to walk within this 'kindness' may
result in the loss of salvation.

Romans 11
19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.”
20 Quite right, they were broken off for their unbelief, but you stand by your faith.
Do not be conceited, but fear;
21 for if God did not spare the natural branches, He will not spare you, either.
22 Behold then the kindness and severity of God; to those who fell, severity, but to you,
God’s kindness, if you continue in His kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off.

Paul does say concerning the Gentiles, 'He will not spare you, either' and Paul also
states 'you also will be cut off'. I have no choice but to conclude that a loss of salvation
is possible. If the Jews could lose salvation so can the Gentiles.

I am convinced that 95% of people are worried about losing their salvation and not about losing the Savior. I include myself in the 95%. They are so selfish. They are concerned about their loved ones salvation, is grandma saved?, yet they never bothered to pray for strangers or donate to overseas missions. They only care that they will go to heaven when they die. They only care that their loved ones will be there too with them. They don't care about Christ. It is all about themself. Christ is just a means to get to heaven, and not the end goal. They don't care about His body, the church. Church to them is just a place to have their spiritual, social or physical needs met, and not to meet Christ with the saints. I have yet to see someone ask in person or an online forum, "is it possible to lose our Savior?". For a lover of Christ, to lose the Savior is worse than spending eternity in hell. Are we saved just so we can escape hell? Do we just want to enter heaven? Do we really love and care for Christ? Have we in fact actually met Him? When you think about Heaven , are you thinking about Christ? Or are you thinking about your loved ones, streets of gold, or icecream or chocolate (guilty as charged heheh). If you are thinking about anything other than Christ, how can you say you love Him? A person will always want to be with the one they love. We should want to go to heaven because that is where our Beloved lives. We are merely branches that are grafted into a very large vine, and then we become part of the vine. According to Romans 11, it is Christ that believers are grafted into, stand and exist in. We are not grafted into heaven or grafted into 'our salvation'. Revelation 2:4 "Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first."
