2Th_1:6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

Gal_5:12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you.

Rom_12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

I know of two people the Lord took there lives over me !

God does not like His children mistreated ! He Loves us more than we Love our own children !

Once a guy I was working for ! i had been working with his son ! His Son was saying hoe his dad cheated many people ! And that His dad was a wonderful man of GOD !
I had said ? Your dad not a man of GOD cheating others !
He told His Dad and the next day i was fired !
Within a month , the business went under and they closed it doors !

The day i was fired ? i just went down the road and went right to work !

We can trust the LORD to deal with them who do us evil and too keep us Forever more !

1Pe_4:19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

Joh_15:9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
Joh_15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Joh_16:27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

Hi, Spirit1st.

I do not think Stephen would agree with what you have written. Acts 7:58-60, tells us, when he was being stoned to death, Saul of Tarsus who was a really nasty Pharisee stood in full agreement with his unlawful murder. Acts 8:1, tells us: "Saul was in hearty agreement with putting him to death." Saul and those with him wanted to extinguish Christianity and anyone who supports it. But notice what Stephen said on their behalf at Acts 7:60: "Then falling on his knees, he cried out with a loud voice, "Lord, do not hold this sin against them!" Having said this, he fell asleep." He did not wish for God to punish them!

Furthermore, later on, this Saul of Tarsus was shown mercy and forgiveness, because he was a misguided man, zealous for God, but at this point of his life he ended up fighting against God. So Jesus appeared to him on the road to Damascus and appointed him as a special representative who spearheaded the preaching of Christianity and wrote a fare amount of the New Testament. (Acts 22:6-11) Thankfully, Jesus did not punish him, in fact he used him to glorify his name. Looking back at all the good Saul or Paul did in the name of Christ, I am sure Stephen will be grateful that God did listen to his prayer for at least one of those who were killing him, although it is not know what happened to the others.

Stephen gave His life for the LORD ! His rewards will be great !
Joh_15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Also Stephen had entered GOD NEW REST ! He Never felt the first stone or any hitting Him and killing HIM !

Paul suffered LOTS for the evil He had done too the church !

Does This look like Paul did not suffer ?

2Co 11:23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft. 2Co 11:24 Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.
2Co 11:25 Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;
2Co 11:26 In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;
2Co 11:27 In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
2Co 11:28 Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches.
2Co 11:29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?
2Co 11:30 If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities.

2Co 11:32 In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me:
2Co 11:33 And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.

I believe Paul died many times and bought back to preach the Gospel !

Praise The LORD

Once at work i was put in a situation that involved a moment of involuntary joking and jesting between colleagues and i was standing by and did not want to be involved but a colleague involved me into this involuntarily and i did not like it and later this same old man wanted to touch me inapropriately and i rebuked this action in The Name of The Lord Jesus.

The next time i saw this particular man he was put to shame by others out in the open severely and he was ridiculed by other colleagues and that was the last time i ever saw him: he left via the back door and he died a only a few weeks later.

i wanted to go and visit him on his sick bed at the hospital but i could not go there even though i wanted to.

Another time a colleague at work was gossiping about me and i sensed this i looked at him and he kind of laughed at me lo and behold the next time i saw him at work he was covered in red rash all over his face and body, i heard him say that the doctors could not find or know what caused it, he was put to shame.

Now this is i believe happened not so much because of me personally of who i am (i am just nothing) but was because The Lord Jesus Lives inside of me and me being His vessel that God Takes these mocking very Personal.

Glory to GOD!

Once a guy told me how He had killed 11 different people in His life time! I told Him He was the most evil guy i had ever met ! And one day ? You will stand before GOD and He will tell a big angel to put you in the lake of fire ! Where You will suffer forever more! He was driving and pulled over and pulled a 357 from under the seat and tried to pull the trigger ! He could not !
God spoke to me in my mind and said ? I could take the gun from Him and kill HIM! I said , Lord I do not want to kill anyone ! Then the guy started driving again !
But it really bothered me , what He had said !
So I told Him the same thing all over again ! He pulled over again and tried again too shoot me ! Then got out and shot the gun into the woods !
I too got out and He got back in the car and i did too ! That was pretty much the end of it ! He now dead and i would guess in hell ?

Another time ! I had painted a mans condo ! And He paid me and said ? He was happy with the job !
Then said ? He had a hobby , it was hurting people ! messing up there lives! I said ? You joking ? He said no ! and if i did not work on some wall paper He had ! He would destory me ! I said Look I belong to JESUS CHRIST ! You cannot destory me !
He said ? I destory big people and your nothing but a painter !
You going to work on that paper or Not? I said No ! I said ? Had you asked me nice ? I might have tried ? But since you said / Yoiu could destory me 1 I am Not going too !
For about a month ! He caused mje problems 1 but It always turned out fine for me !
after about a month i got a call from another man , he knew and He said the man had died !

Our Lives are important to our father God and how we die Also !

Psa_116:15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

I have had lots of people in my life time try to hurt or destory me ! and I Am NO more than the least in his body and true unseed church !
We never know sometimes how He is protecting us ? But He always watching and listening to us !

God spoke to me in my mind and said ? I could take the gun from Him and kill HIM! I said , Lord I do not want to kill anyone ! Then the guy started driving again !

I don't believe God would tell you to kill someone like that. It was probably an evil spirit put that thought there or your mind.

The man went on to kill at least one more man after that! I wondered if i should have killed the guy and know I would havce saved at least one more person ! He might have killed more ?
Sure God saw that He would kill that poor guy for no good reason and maybe more ?
God sees the future and knows what is best always !

Some belong to satan , just as some belong to GOD!
God of course sees our entire lives 100% ! We see only the now , normally . Unless He reveals more to us ?

It was odd ? I was not scared or upset during those times , He had the gun on me ! I just knew He was not able to kill me !
It always amazed me , how at different times ? We act differently ?
I am sure at that time , The Spirit of peace ws upon me !

There has been times i have been scared or full of fear or upset and other times? I was not upset or lost my peace or joy or anything ?

But I am sure , when at perfect peace ? The LORD with me 100% and keeping me ! just as He did Stephen !
We all going to die or I should say ? Leave this weak sin filled body !

I not worried how i go ! But only want to be in HIS perfect will when i leave!

If God does this for the unsaved ? How much more will He for his own family and household ?
Isa_57:1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

He LOVES US more than we Love our children or even ourselves!

Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

sometimes ? Our testimonies are not recieved very well by others ? It ok !

Hello Spirit1st.

One Sunday morning I did not have any money on me and my motorbike
was being serviced. I wanted to go to church but the church was about
seven miles from where I lived.

I prayed about the problem and left it in the hands of God.

I had only walked 20 yards when a guy driving a taxi pulled over
next to me. He asked if I needed a lift, in surprise I told him I had
no money on me, but thanks anyway. Then the driver said "hop in
mate, my shift is over and I will give you a lift."

Arriving at the church I told the taxi driver about Jesus and
jumped out rejoicing in the Lord. We are a special people
and Jesus loves us beyond what we can even imagine.

I also have had things like that take place in my life DHC ! Our testimonies are very important ! One of the three ways we overcome !
God told me a few years ago to start giving my testimonies!
I been kicked off sites for just telling what God done in my life time !
It not as if I did anything , but call out too Him for help ?

God told me to go to this certain church ! The night before He told me to srtart giving my testimonies and i wrote them . 14 pages , each with a little story about it ! I took one page and gave it too the pastor ! For about two years He would shun me ! turn His back on me , every time i came though door !People would always look at me !

Now He comes up and kisses my cheek at times and always tells me He very glad i go there !

Mat_22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

There will be millions in New Jerusalem ! We are REally Blessed to be one of the Elect ! No matter how we might suffer here ?

Rom_8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

I know many in the LORD suffer lots all over the world ! And it makes me sad to think how some suffer ? But we all do to some degree ?

Hi spirit1st, you have some very interesting personal testimonies.

However, I do not believe you could prove from the Bible Stephen, to quote you "Never felt the first stone or any hitting Him and killing HIM!" That is pure speculation.

Further, you make it sound as if Paul suffered by God's decree in his ministry because he treated them badly in the first place. Yet the account in Acts 13:50, 51, shows both Paul and Barnabas suffering at the hands of Jewish trouble makers, but no where is Barnabas described as being worthy of being inflicted with harsh treatment because of his pre-Christian life style. I believe this is pure speculation.

As regards Paul dying many times and being brought back to life. If this actually happened, I am sure it would have figured prominently in the letters of Paul and other writers, to show God's power and encourage other first century Christians.

You might think I am nit-picking, but when a person makes statements about the Bible, it is wise to back them up with scriptural proof.

It appears too me? He did not suffer or try to block or cry out in pain ! I know if someone hurting and killing you ? You move or try to block or stop it !
Act 7:59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
Act 7:60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

You do not have too agree !

It also appears too me ? Paul suffered more than any of the disciples !
2Co 11:23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.
2Co 11:24 Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.

2Co 11:30 If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities.
2Co 11:31 The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.

1Co 15:9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

He worked and pay His way as much as He could! Never married and gave up Everything for our LORD JESUS and HIS gospel 1 why then did He suffer so MUCH ?
Why is He not mention as sitting on a throme judging the 12 tribes or ahead of the gentiles in the Kingdom ?

God used HIm against the 12 disciples when they refused to live in the Truth ! The Lord had revealed to peter and I am sure all 12 ?

Listen He used paul above all the disciples ! yet paul appears to have suffered far more !
You Do not have to see it as I do !
It Ok !

But i do think Paul suffered lots and was killed many times ! Because He caused many in the true church to suffer and die!

How about these spirits in heaven of God children crying out to our LORD JESUS! Asking when are You going to deal with those who killed US ? were any of them people who Paul helped destory ? You know it serious too kill or destory God own family ?

Act_9:16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake. [/U

He had to suffer Great things ! The question is do we Al also suffer such great things ? i doubt it ?

But we do suffer some?

You know the real question is does a christian suffer for some of the evil they did before coming to the LORD? !

I think our flesh can and does ? Unless we obey the LORD!

Jas 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
Jas 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

Sin causes sickness sometimes ! Not all sickness is caused by sin !

Our flesh is not free from the wages of Sin !

Listen many wonderful christians have suffered Very bad sicknesses and died from them ! The real answer is ? It could be from many different things ! might noot be from sin 1 We are in a very sick world and they might not have known how to be healed or there might be a number of answers to it ?

Gal 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
GOd word has not changed just because we accept Salvation !

I cannot find the scripture right now? But it says ? we will suffer if we do evil to God children ! I "ll find it later u guess ?

Here the scripture i was searching for ! I had to give up ! So the HOLY GHOST could lead me to it !

2Th_1:6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

Gal_5:12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you.

Rom_12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Col_3:25 But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.

Listen we cannot do evil too others and think we just say ok i am sorry now and not reap from it ?

But at the same time , I know we can be forgiven in the flesh !

In our Spirit it no problem , our New spirit cannot Sin ! But our flesh can , even just in our minds ! We can Sin and not know it and get sickness from it !
still He has provided healing for us in many ways !

Power over death is inherent in the Holy Spirit.

More than likely, raising the dead probably occurred at
other times apart from those listed below. More importantly
everyday people are raised from death in sin to a new life in
Christ. Which kind of death is being discussed.

Elijah raised the dead, 1 Kings 17

Elisha raised the dead son of the great Shunammite woman, 2 Kings 4.

Jesus resurrects the widow's son at Nain, Luke 7:13-15.

Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead, John 11:43-44.

Many saints resurrected at Jesus' crucifixion, Matthew 27:52-53.

Christ's resurrection, Matthew 28:5-7.

Peter raises a disciple named Tabitha from the dead, Acts 9:36-42.

Paul raises Eutychus from the dead, Acts 20:9-12.

A strong possibility that Paul was raised from the dead, Acts 14:19-20.

John 5:28
29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life;
and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
