Prayer for the sick?

I would like to know if anyone could pray for me? I hate asking for prayers but I really need some.

I have hyperthyroidism and I am having surgery in May to get the thyroid out. My specialist recently took me off my medication because my levels were back to normal but I have been feeling the effects of it really bad lately. I feel like I did before I started the medication minus a few things. I have been feeling light headed again( as my blood pressure is up again) and I haven't been able to really leave my house. As I write this I am crying. I sleep with a bible under my pillow or in my arms and I pray for health for myself as well as for all the other sick people in the world. I have a five year old daughter who needs a mom.
I have been sick all my life, I have kidney disease and high blood pressure so having this thyroid problem is making things worse, especially for my high blood pressure. If it get's too high I could go into a coma have a heart attack or a stroke. Please pray for me.

God revealed many ways to be healed in the Bible !

Fasting is one and praying for each other and going before the elders of the church and praying for ourselves even !


Isa_58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
Isa 58:8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.
Isa 58:9 Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here

Jas 5:13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
Jas 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
Jas 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.


Jas_5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
This is Not our sins ! But the area we have trouble overcoming in ! We confess our Sins to our Lord!

Jas_4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

It Must be that we want to serve Him more perfectly ! Not so we can care only about ourselves !

Joh_14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Joh_14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

Doubt the killer !

We Must remeber ? HE LOIVES US More than We Love ourselves! I know it hard for us to believe this at times ? But it 100% Truth ! And it by FAITH ! No matter what we feel or see !

Once i was in a car wreck ! I was peeing blood after ! I went to the hospital and they said i had to be operated on right away or I would be dead by morning ! i said No ! Anyway GOD healed me ! But my belly was black as black can get and was sore a while ! But I was healed ! I went to work the next day ! It did hurt some to pick stuff up? But never had any real problems !
But it very hard when it appears life or death ?

And I AM NO GREAT MAN OF FAITH ! I known fear many times when serious things have taken place! I am NOT More than you !

But at certain times ? Certain scriptures keep going though my mind and I stand on them ! But Not in great faith ! Maybe , child like Faith ?

Bless you and all on this site who need the LORDS HELP! In the Mighty name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST! We all need help in some way or another at times!

I am praying for you knowing that God is there with you and will bring you through this and go through this with you every step of the way. He sees your tears and hears your prayers and hears the prayers of those who come together in His name lifting you to Him.

2 Kings 20:5 Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you.

Lord, we lift Jessika up to you now and ask that Your ever loving, healing hand be upon her right now. Comfort her and give her what she needs to get through this hard and scary time. We know you are the great healer and that you have heard her prayers and seen her tears and that you know what she is going through and we know that you are there with her right now Lord. Keep your healing hand upon her and heal that thyroid that is causing her to not feel good Lord. We come together asking for your will to be done for jessika and for your peace a peace that surpasses any other peace to fill and surround this your daughter. My prayers are with you Jessika. I don't claim greater in faith, I also have fears too. Day by day I am feeling his hand and God is helping me to change and increase in faith.
No matter what take time to read the bible and pray and your faith will increase and God will help you and his healing hand will be upon you. Slowly you will see his power and miracle happens in you.

Sorry bumping this.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who prayed for me. I had surgery on Tuesday and everything went well. It was more difficult for the surgeon to do my surgery as the gland was a lot bigger then they thought it was, with a lot more blood vessels so he had to do a lot more work then what a normal thyroid surgery goes.
I was supposed to be in the hospital for two to four days after surgery, they let me go home early. I got out the next day. I can only say that Jesus was there beside my surgeon and lending him a hand. I can say that it's been a miracle that I was able to go home and that all my test's have come back really well.
Again thank you all for all your prayers. Miracles do happen and praise the lord for helping me become healthy again.

Not fully recovered yet, but thank you for thinking of me and my family I am still healing and I am still in a lot of pain. Taking it easy though and resting as much as I can
