WHAT’S WRONG <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">AMERICA</st1lace></st1:country-region>?


Why is <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">America</st1lace></st1:country-region> having so many problems? Can the problems with our nation of over three hundred million be resolved from <st1lace w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Washington</st1:City> <st1:State w:st="on">D.C.</st1:State></st1lace> by passing laws and spending more money? More government employees and laws will not stop the vices of the world. Laws cannot restore the moral values and character of our people. We all need to work together with GOD through love to end: violence and crime, drug and alcohol abuse, broken homes and divorce, pornography and prostitution, corrupt “entertainment”, abortion, gambling, “loose living” and immoral relationships, covetousness and a lust for wealth. Laws might help suppress these vices, but will not end them because our problem is in the heart of the people. Many Americans are spiritually sick and need to be reconciled to GOD. Younger Americans have not understood this because the present state of life in <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">America</st1lace></st1:country-region> is all some have ever known. Our country will be restored when the people truly repent and return to GOD.

Our country went “downhill” because many that profess to believe in Jesus Christ did not have a personal relationship with GOD, either because they did not know how to, they did not know they could, or they have not been willing to repent. By trusting in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, we are forgiven as we repent and confess our sins. When we are forgiven of all trespasses by turning from the world and sin to practice righteousness, we are born of the Spirit and saved as a child of GOD by being made alive together with the Spirit of Christ. Children of GOD grow in grace and wisdom and overcome the world (the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life) as Christ is formed in us until we “put on” perfection/immortality when we are sanctified wholly by being anointed with the Holy Spirit of GOD to be a “son” of GOD and heir of the Kingdom of GOD. GOD wants us to come to Him in love, to know Him and to learn these things for our self. When GOD sees we truly want to know Him, He will draw near and begin to make Himself known to us. There is no experience more exciting than the privilege of having a personal relationship with GOD our FATHER through faith in the name of His Son our Lord Jesus Christ.

The moral values of <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">America</st1lace></st1:country-region> have decayed over these past fifty years. We might see the beginning of our problems going back to when reading the Bible and prayer were denied in our schools. Shortly thereafter, abortion was legalized. Vulgar language began to be used more frequently and has become accepted by many as the norm. Some people crave sex, sex, and more sex; but intimacy without love is only temporal and does not satisfy. Divorce has become common today. When parents do not respect GOD, their children do not learn to respect GOD either. Without GOD in their life, young people have less respect for their parents and authority, and they are more rebellious and less responsible. Many have lost respect for GOD by being exposed to the corruption of the world. Sunday has become like any other day of the week, rather than a special day to worship GOD and rest. Most churches have stopped worship and Bible study on Wednesday night. And it’s no wonder the Spirit is not around when contemporary “Christian music” often sounds worldlier than the world with wiry electric guitars, noisy drums and electric organs. Many people are not spiritually minded with little concern about GOD in their life. Their interest is in the economy and satisfying their own fleshly desires and lusts.

Gambling was approved and the lottery began as a supplement for taxes. At first, only riverboat gambling was legalized, but it crept into the cities and now casinos have spread across the whole nation like a cancer. Today, religious leaders are pressed to approve of immoral relationships which the Bible clearly states are of the flesh, and those that practice them shall not inherit the <st1lace w:st="on"><st1laceType w:st="on">Kingdom</st1laceType> of <st1laceName w:st="on">GOD</st1laceName></st1lace> (Galatians 5:19-21). Does anyone believe that GOD would consider passing laws that promote unrighteousness anything less than practicing unrighteousness?

As these changes were made, the people changed too. Today, fifty years since these changes began; we see a difference in society, how the lifestyle in <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">America</st1lace></st1:country-region> is more corrupt and violent. Many people are more vulgar, disrespectful, irresponsible and sloppy. This fulfills Bible prophecy on how it would be in the end. Many students do not complete their education, and even if they do, they receive a poorer quality education than in past years because of moral decay. And spending more money is not the answer. Students might get their head filled with knowledge, but they also need common sense and wisdom as to how to use the knowledge. <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">America</st1lace></st1:country-region> has not been the leader we were in years past. As the world economy changed, our country tried to continue as we were by borrowing money while foolishly wasting our resources by lusting after the world. And the result, the value of our savings and possessions has diminished as the value of the dollar depreciated with inflation and a rising national debt because of wasteful spending by politicians that do not lead in righteousness with wisdom.

As previously mentioned, the government cannot stop or contain worldly vices through legislation because the problem is a moral issue in the heart of the people. People living after the ways of the “world” and sin tried to push Christ out of <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">America</st1lace></st1:country-region>, but they cannot. They tried to do this because they had no true faith in GOD, perhaps because they were never shown they truly could have a relationship with GOD. For <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">America</st1lace></st1:country-region> to be restored, the people need to turn from the ways of the world (repent) and return to GOD in a spirit of love for GOD and their neighbor. As the people turn from sin and return to GOD in a spirit of love, violence and, corruption will diminish. GOD will continue to meet our needs through love as we keep the “royal law” (to love our neighbor as our self). Covetousness, drug and alcohol abuse, tobacco, divorce, prostitution, pornography, abortion, gambling, lying, stealing, fraud, murder, violence, vulgar language and a myriad of vices will end as we learn to live a righteous lifestyle in fellowship with GOD our Heavenly Father. There will be fewer government offices and less waste as we work together with GOD and our neighbor in a Spirit of love.

GOD does not save us and make us heirs of the <st1lace w:st="on"><st1laceType w:st="on">Kingdom</st1laceType> of <st1laceName w:st="on">GOD</st1laceName></st1lace> just because we belong to a local church or come forward at an altar call. By believing in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, we are saved by being made alive together with the Spirit of Christ and reconciled to GOD when forgiven of all trespasses by repenting and confessing our sins. We will begin to know GOD as our Heavenly Father when we seek Him with all our heart. You will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart (Jeremiah 29:13). The more we show GOD our sincerity in wanting to know and love Him through reading the Bible, prayer, repentance, worship, and service; the more GOD will make Himself known to us. Draw near to GOD and He will draw near to you (James 4:8a). We find peace in communion with GOD, and our prayers are answered as GOD fulfills His plans for us. We overcome the world and sin as we are made in the image of Jesus Christ to be seated at the right hand of GOD with Christ as a son of GOD and heir of the <st1lace w:st="on"><st1laceType w:st="on">Kingdom</st1laceType> of <st1laceName w:st="on">GOD</st1laceName></st1lace>, with our name secured in the book of life to go out no more. Even though we believe Jesus is the Christ, we need to live by faith, repent and confess our sins to be forgiven and reconciled to GOD. For with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:10b). Faith without works is “dead”. We are to repent or perish.

Your post has a lot to say. What about the United States of Americ do you love ? Many of us veteran's have given our all for our country, and some of us because we gave all , we live with the pain and scars, because once upon a time, we were called upon to give all we had ! Many who have given their lives so we can have the FREEDOM you and I have !

I understand what you see wrong with the USA. But where, tell me if you had to leave the USA in 24 hours where would you go ?

Now here is what I see is so good in the USA. We have freedom to go to any church we want. You do not have to give to a Government Church. No one forces you to give to any religion. You still can deduct what you gve to your church on your taxes, if you qualify. You can travel anywhere you want in the USA with no border stops. We can buy food any where you want.You can quit you job anytime and look for some other job. You can worship on any day you want. The Constitution of the USA protects your freedom ! You can own a gun, own property, live where you want. You have the rightto defend your home, and what belongs to you. no one can take these from you without a trial.

There are so many wonderful things we take for granted. So while you do have the right to say what's wrong with our country, but please offer some things you are thankful for.
Perhaps the post you have posted is protected by the very country you live in.

I have gone to Bolivia, Central America, Mexico and every place is not near as wonderful as we have in the USA. Have yo served in the US Services ? It makes no difference, because our country allows you equal status to speak even if you have not. Our Country is far from perfect. But God has and is blessing the USA !

GOD is working in and through Us (His Christ - anointed ones) to bring the kingdoms of this world to become the Kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ (Us).

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)
GOD cleanses (purges/purifies) us of unrighteousness (sin) if we confess our sins.

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. (2 Corinthians 5:21)
God is conforming us to the image of Jesus Christ so that we might become the righteousness of GOD in Christ.

Labor comes before birth as Christ is being formed in us.

There is a difference between being justified until we are justified and righteous when we are saved by being made alive (quickened) together with the Spirit of Christ.
When we are saved, we are alive and righteous by being one with the Spirit of the Son and the Holy Spirit of GOD within us.

We are not born of GOD when we are justified to be righteous until our heart is circumcised "of the flesh".

since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith. (Romans 3:30)
but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God. (Romans 2:29)

I understand what you see wrong with the USA. But where, tell me if you had to leave the USA in 24 hours where would you go ?

To many to list, the world is a big place. So many cultures ,music, art, ancient history, food to explore and the churches overseas are on fire, actually being prosecuted for their faith, spiritual hunger is alive. Our mighty military that hovers over the world with an iron fist, kinda makes it safer than most if not all other countries, no one dictates us, we're usually the one dictating other countries on how to live ( e.g. threatening to stop sending Aid to Africa if they don't change their laws on homosexuality ) . The downside of our military is resentment from those we may have a rough history with.

All in all any native of any country would stand 100% by it, no matter what the world says. My citizenship is in heaven, I'm just visiting. The world will serve itself, do its business and I would go about doing my Father's business.

I love the good ole US of A, for its diversity, I can attend a church that speaks an old Lost native indian language, a language brought over to the US by West Africa slaves. I use to frequently visit an Italian church with English translations, eat authentic Korean food, Hungarian food, Caribbean food, yummy yummy. I can meet immigrants from all over the world. America the land of immigrants, because of this cultural exchange visiting other countries is enticing not scary.
