I-ve been seeking answers to many questions regarding faith, religion, and Gods love. I-ve attended several churches over the years but i never seem to settle! Each time I attend a new church I leave disillusioned by the churchs teachings. I begining to wonder if i-m being too judgmental...is the devil working to keep me from the church? Do you believe in all the teachings of your Church? I have soo many questions....

I have often found the following words by Abraham Lincoln helpful to me in my many searches:
"I have never united myself to any church, because I have
found difficulty in giving my assent without mental reservation,
to the long complicated statements of Christian doctrine which
characterizes their Articles of Belief and Confessions of Faith.
When any church will inscribe over its altar as its sole qualification for membership the Savior's condensed statement of both Law and Gospel, 'thou shaltlove the Lord thy God
with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and
thy neighbor as thyself' that church will I join with all my heart and all my soul" [by Abraham Lincoln]
God does have an answer for each of us who is really seeking His truth. He, God, is the best source for answers. He gave us the Bible to help us, but as you have probably already noticed, many places that use the Bible still disagree with each other. God's Spirit never really disagrees with God's Spirit. It is and must be the Holy Ghost speaking to our hearts that will guide us to where we need to go, but there are other voices talking to us besides that of the Holy Spirit.
In a more direct answer to your specific question, NO, I do not agree with all that even my pastor believes and teaches. However, I am satisfied that he, my pastor, has his heart always toward God and is willing to learn, anytime God is teaching him something. I hope that I am able to always do as well. With God's help we all can always do as well.
For man it is impossible, but for God all things are possible. If God is in us and we are paying close attention all of the time, everything that is necessary for us is possible for us through Him. We need to ask God to help us to hear and recognise His voice among the voices that speak to us. We need to ask God to help us to always love His truth... even when we may not yet know all of His truth.

I see your from NJ. You want an amazing church to go to? Hillsong NYC. That's where I go, one year this month. Never heard a single sermon that was off and unbiblical. I go at least 3 times a week all the way from Pennsylvania. Its worth that much driving. All about Jesus, come as you are. You leave feeling the presence of GOD in this place.
