I'm just in a mess..... help

hi all
wonder if someone can help me out here . for the last week or so I have bin feeling like my faith is falling apart , I feel like everyone in this life/world is out to get me (yes I know that not everyone is out to get me , but if you was in my shoes then you might just understand why .)
I also feel like I'm not doing enought to be jesus's follower . I just feel so depressed cos of not doing enought for jesus , yes I know that jesus cares about me. maybe it;s the devil attacking me ? all I want is to make sure that I'm on the road to getting to my home in hevan , but what is really inportant is that I live forever with jesus , thats my goal in life to earn that , but I feel like I'm miles off of this .

Blessings Sister. One thing that can make our life feel unfulfilled is not having a vision. That would be goals, dreams, things to accomplish for the plan of God.

Pro 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, (Word) happy is he.

The people without a vision perish.

It's not about you getting to heaven!!! That could be a problem because your bought and paid for already. It's about the small time we have here on earth, and what we do with that small amount of time.

Helping others in the Word is the best way to not only see your own issues, but it gives us purpose.

2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

You can't do much for the Lord if your not filled with the Word. I am not talking about memorizing the whole bible, but what areas in your heart most interest you in God's Word?
God already has put his plan and purpose inside you and if you take diligence in what is already there, studying out in the Word what is in your heart you will start to notice something.

People will start picking up conversations with you in God's word. God sends them your way.

This is just the start, but the best thing you can do for the Kingdom, and being a body part in the body of Christ is get your nose in the Bible, and start taking notes, listen to teachings, ask God to use you as he intended.

Once you take your prayer and word time serious. (I know the flesh don't always like that) once you draw neigh to God with his things in mind and people he wants to help.

Things change........

We all fall short! That is what grace,and mercy, and kindness from the Lord is for! He know you! And he also knows your heart! Do not be to hard on yourself either.because in doing this, you can tend to draw away from the Lord,and this is never good!

Check yourself yes!! By all means,but also be encouraged!! Jesus loves you! AND!! He knows you love him!! Just look to spend more time with him! That was my answer when I was in your shoes! First of all, No can do enough for Jesus. Second, He doesnt really need us to accomplish anything. But that doesnt mean we dont do anything, He wants us to be a part of His plan for our sake.

Because yes, there will be times we will feel distant to Him and thought that our faith is falling apart and with it God's love for us falls apart too. NO. NO. NO. His love never changes. During that time where you feel all zealous with serving Him and that time where you think you're just too helpless. He is the same.

It doesnt have to be dramatic or extreme, just tell your feelings to Him with all honesty, you know how David tells it all, even when he's angry, he's lonely, he feels he was forsaken.. God doesnt expect us to be all high and up always. He knows we cant. But wherever you are in your spiritual life right now, He does wants to know.

Since replying to your post a while ago I have spent some time reading through your other posts and threads here at Talk Jesus.
They all seem to follow the same theme of feeling low, desperate and unloved. You have also been given lots of sound kindly Christian advice reminding you of the unfailing love of the Lord and His wonderful steadfast promises.

Spend a little time thinking of all the wonderful blessings you have in Christ. All the little things that He provides you with from day to day.
Consider all the things that we take for granted......food, clothing, health and other comforts

Lift the Lord's name up and Praise Him
Thank Him
Give the glory due unto His name

You are blessed.

You will be amazed and wont fail to rejoice at all He has done for you.

i can really relate to what you are feeling. Many times I have awaken at night, nervous, sweating and thought of "i am not doing enough" etc-all that negative trash.
We are people with different personalities and its essential not to compare ourselves with others. the work the LORD wants to do in our lifes is very individual and when we are in the right place in Gods will is when will come all these lies.
All i can say to you is what i tell myself is keep in the fight, resist and demand those thoughts gone in Jesus name. You and I belong to Jesus Christ with all our faults and missgivings. Get with people that help you spiritually, keep you mind, protect daily with the Blood of Jesus.
Your already in the answer by asking for help. Read all the other posts here for you and you can be an answer for someone else.

however right now I feel so depressed cos I feel like I'm no good for jesus , ok I know the lord love me more then words can say , but what I'm about to tell you is what's making me very depressed 2 times today I head voices in my head said a swear word at the holy spirit . now I'm NEVER going to live with jesus forever as this is a ungiving sin sometime I wish I was never born ............ I just know I'm going to straight hell . so sorry to go on and on but I just want to keep on the road that leads to live with jesus forever , but I so far away from getting there

You would not even be posting here if You had no hope.

What makes you so special, that the advice given will not work?

You are so focused on your selfish self, how you feel, just you making it to heaven. I find it hard to believe that the voices and thoughts in your head are so powerful that the Word will not work if you will just be a doer of the word and stop with this self absorption.

Your not the only one in the World the devil has tried this with, your spirit is so weak you let him get away with this. Get filled with the love of God's Word!!!

Get in your word, focus on those things in the Word that interest you most, ask God how you can be a blessing to others and to prepare you!!

If you don't draw neigh to God, you will be forever depressed and unsure. You should take the advice given here, and stop with the pride that keeps you from receiving.

Now say everyday!!

I am saved, loved of God, Born of the Word, the righteousness of God. I will do and accomplish all the Lord has designed me to do, being a Major blessings to others. I do not listen to lies, I do not follow a strangers voice. I have a sound mind, the mind of Christ. I will more than make it, I am an over comer.

Your attitude.

There is lots of help here sister, but depression is self focus. You have had gotten some great advice. Put your feelings in check, and believe the Word only.

Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Jas 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Now look, are those voices lining up with peace, Mercy, gentle, lovely, pure?

If they are not, they are not from God.

If they are not from God, you cast them down, and discount them.

If you are unwilling to obey the Word, Think on those thoughts only, ignoring the devil's thoughts, then what help do you expect here?

Don't worry my dear sister, this is actually quite a common tactic of the enemy, and something that's afflicted many Christians in their walk with the Lord. Just discount the thoughts altogether, and start renewing your mind by really getting into the word of God. Trust me, it could do wonders.

When we seek God with our entire hearts, we will find him. And Jesus said he is: ''the way, the truth, and the life''. As we expand on that further we also know from scripture that the Lord says: '' ye shall know the truth, and the truth will set us free''. Keep seeking Jesus and he will set you free!

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; - 2 Corinthians 10:5

Please DO NOT GIVE UP, sister !!! I have had blasphemous thoughts pumped into my mind that would literally make me insane if it were not for the incredible grace, mercy and love of our blessed Savior to see me through them!!

Have you noticed how the devil puts the thoughts in your mind and then loves to blame you for them? And accuse you about them? I have too.

That's what he does! He is a LIAR, murderer, thief and destroyer!! He puts lies in to your head to try steal and destroy your faith and hope in your ONLY hope, Jesus.

But God is faithful to ALL who call on Him and will in no wise cast ANYONE out!!! And He didn't mean "only if you are feeling happy".
So take your despair and angst to the foot of the cross and see how strong the Lord will be for you!!
He will never leave or forsake us!! He cannot lie, so hold Him to His Word !!

The Good Shepherd will not let the roaring lion snatch away even one of His sheep, so don't be afraid of the power of Satan, for it is NOTHING. Instead look to the mighty power of God to SAVE and DELIVER !!

No matter how unworthy, lost, rejected or hopeless you feel, you are never too far out of reach of the grace of God!!

The devil wants us to look at ourselves, not at Jesus. The thoughts are distractions designed to keep you from looking to Jesus. I have experienced this firsthand. Because Satan knows if he can keep us from looking at and to Jesus, we are finished!!

Regarding your comment that you are no good for Jesus, I have some news for you : the only way you could possibly be no good for Jesus is when you say you are no good for Jesus.

Brother Mike was right in the advice he gave you, and I know he didn't mean to hurt you. You have to change your perspective from you to GOD. Instead of saying you are not good, say HE is good. Instead of saying you are ungodly, say Christ died for the ungodly. Instead of saying you can't do it, say I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
This way you will not be looking at and fueling your problems, and your focus will be where it should be, on God.

So please stop listening to all those lies the devil is telling you. God would never torment you in such ways. If another of those thoughts against the Holy Spirit invades your mind, you tell yourself - OUT LOUD - that you reject it as a lie of Satan, and then immediately praise God. Seriously, you need to praise God. By doing so you will torment the devil much more than he is tormenting you !! In fact, he can only torment you if you let him.

Sister For Christ!! As you well know, everyday millions of thoughts come knocking at the very door of our mind! They come sometimes to test us.Sometimes they come because our mind is in a sad state to begin with. We are angry with where we presently are in the Lord!

We should be much further then we are, we believe!! I sure understand this!! But the thought of something, does not replace the action of something,you never said what was in your mind! You know why?? Because the thought that came knocking on you door was so bad,you would not even answer it!! GOOD!!! FOR YOU!!

In this dear sister we grow,we test ourselves as well in our growth in the Lord. If I was ever content with where I am in the Lord,how then could I ever grow more? The Word says to be content in what?? the Lord?? NOPE!!! Circumstances!!( Philippians 4:11) We do not always enjoy the place we are at in the present!!

I sure know this is true!BUT!! We also know that Jesus loves us enough to care for us! But we have to allow this! Why are you pushing away? Because of guilt? Who among us has not sinned? No stones in my pocket sis! Sometimes we choose to run in the Lord,anxious to see what is ahead,or what wall we might think we run into.

Jesus says this to us sister!! Have peace with yourself!! For if we do then, and only then can we have peace with a most loving God! The secret to having peace with ourself,is having peace in the Lord! Philippians 4:4-9)

Then as spoken earlier peace with circumstances! I believe you to be a terrific sister! You have so much love in you!! I can see this!! Your Love for Jesus cannot even be measured! Well sister here is something you may not know,neither can his for you!!( psalm 103:11-17!!!!)

To help your mind,we must allow Jesus to take control of this! This is done by staying in his Word!! Today the World spoke on 2012, they called it the year of the Bible!! Indeed this could be the very year our Living Word comes back. Jesus does not want you sad dear sister,he wants you to have as much joy as he will have to receive you fully!!!! Unto himself!! And we his Church Praise his Most Holy and Blessed Name!!! We love you sister!! and Jesus does to!! AMEN!!! AMEN!!
