I would appreciate prayers for a possible job will Allstate at the corporate office here in Ohio. I've been without a decent job coming up on 2 years now. I have a phone interview tomorrow and if I do well on that they will call me in for a face to face interview.

For some reason I am very nervous about the phone interview, can't seem to shake the feeling of failing, and I know where that comes from, so I am binding the enemy in Jesus name, and praying calmness and peace.

Thank you all so much

Ronna

I have prayed for you to have an amazing phone interview. Just trust that He has good things in mind for you, and walk by faith not by sight. The enemy can't stop God's plans for you!
Philippians 4:6-7 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Dear Ronna,

I have been praying and wondering how you got on with your job interview?

God bless you,

Halva

They are looking to hear a voice another would want to hear.So speak to them as you would want them to talk to you,and you will do just dandy!! Have no fear! To fail is someones else problem! Remember, what you expect, usually one does receive!! GOOD!!!! or bad. Since much of ther job requires one to speak on the phone to people, they are looking for a voice.YOUR VOICE!!! amen!

Thank you all for your prayers, I haven't heard anything at all. They said they would call last week and didn't. I just don't know what to do now.

I'm lost here Lord

Hi Ronna,

Just keep trusting God and waiting on Him. He always has the best of thoughts and plans in mind for us and will never fail us. Things aren't always as they seem, it could be that He has something else in mind for you, or the employer will call after all, God knows. Whatever happens His ways are mysterious, and better than ours.

Keep asking 'til you receive, keep seeking until you find, and keep knocking, 'til the right door is opened for you :)

We only lost hope when we already refuse to believe and hold on that God has something better in store for us... Praying that the Lord will continue to strengthen you and lead you. Blessings!!!

Failure is really a small step backwards, just like playing a family game of Snakes and Ladders when using the dice. Winning the game does not always happen so it's the same when looking for a job. There are secret hints that can improve your chances such as wearing a business shirt, pants, tie and shoes. Clean-shaven, tidy combed hair also has it's plus points. Smiling also shows your positive health and enthusiasm.
Like family games, you keep playing again and again to increase your winning chances, so does looking for a job again - and again. What happens during your job-seeking interviews, your intelligent mind picks knows your past failures and replaces them with new 'untried' ones... Well, you can call it new untried failures, but I call them 'stepping stones kinda-like failures as you walk on the ladder of success.
Praise our victorious Lord Jesus to fight the sin-causing failure of success from healthy and able-bodied individuals like you, who do not want to be labled 'unemployed'.:*:.

Call them back Sister!!! Tell them you missed their call on the promise to call you, and you wanted to double check the message number they have as you did not receive any messages.

All grace abounds toward you, and real faith takes action and already has received the Job.

Jesus Is Lord.

Indeed; even if we don't think so at the time.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. - Romans 8:28
