Evangelize those who don't believe Bible God's Word

I have faced the problem when someone arguments that there are many different versions of the bible, so how can one be sure the Christian version is the right one? how can the bible be reliable, and different books simmilar for different religions, even they argue that the Bible is man written book, nothing else.

Of course I am talking of people that don't know the Lord Jesus Christ.

But I find hard to convince them that the word of God is truth . Your suggestions will help a lot

The Argument.

1) Man wrote the bible, there are so many different versions who is to say what is right. That's why I am not messing with it.

2) So many denominations, Heck they don't even like each other, who knows which one is right.

3) The Churches I went to, all the people are Hypocrites. I am not about that, I am not into being fake.

4) The bible contradicts itself in many places, I am not going to even bother with that.

We don't win people by wining the argument. We can never win these arguments with these people.

These are excuse number 100 something because they are blinded, lost.

If people see your confidence, Joy, peace, see God meet all your needs. You tell them they are lost, and can have what you have, a better life, a life of peace, all the burdens removed from sin.

It's the good news of what we have, that wins the lost.

Jesus Is Lord.

Sometimes, we think we have to win over arguments & then we will win them over to Christ, but no, it doesnt work that way...

Our task is to spread the good news, to deliver them, the rest is the Holy Spirit's work. Before you share to someone make sure you pray about that person & about how you will share it. As long as you are delivering the right Gospel. You are fairly doing your part. So many things can get in the way and they can find endless reasons to distract you.

I, for one believes that its a good thing there are different versions of the Bible but it has the same message, because God created us differently, and we perceive words differently. What can seem a simple phrase for you in this version can be an extraordinary one for someone else.

I think that this "I don't believe in the Bible, its just a book." reasons are sort of like a defense mechanism, because they can instantly block you out. What you do is continue sharing, just whatever version you are comfortable with and again pray after it. And who knows they'll come home thinking or at one point remember what you shared.

You didn't win over the if-its-true part, (after all you know it is)
but you won over giving the message, sharing Christ.

And still keep reading the Word so that you'll be armed and ready for other situations.

There are a number of reasons why the Christian Bible is unique.

It has to do with canonicity, this means that there are a number of criteria
that each letter in the Bible must fulfill.

I will list them for you Rickygtz,

Is it authoritative, for example “Thus saith the Lord”.

Is it prophetic, messianic prophecies are an example.

- A book in the Bible must have the authority of a spiritual leader of Israel
(O.T. – prophet, king, judge, scribe) or and apostle of the church
(N.T. – It must be based on the testimony of an original apostle.).

It is authentic, consistent with other revelation of truth.

Is it dynamic – demonstrating God’s life-changing power Hebrew 4:12.

Is it received, accepted and used by believers, for example 1 Thessalonians 2:13.

What the Bible says is the full truth about God, mans nature, and God's grand plan
for the reconciliation of mankind to Himself.

HI Ricky....Start with the Bible is the INSPIRED word of God....All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. 2 Tim 3:16 Can we as witnesses name any OTHER book that has the answers to all of the problems in life that we face? 2)Each denomination has a different name but most preach the exact same thing with slightly different views - they are no different from each other
3)Most Christians are Hypocrites ''Most'' i.e All people are accepted,but NOT ALL PEOPLE - All Christian religions are accepted but NOT ALL CHRISTIAN RELIGIONS
4)The Bible does not contradict itself - man has contradictions.

As for winning,I assume you ''win'' souls in to the congregation?
This is not threw love of Jesus this is threw fear of been burned in Hell forever and ever.

After all what are the people you are trying to win,lost from?
Why do they need to be saved?
What do they need to be saved from?
What is salvation?
How come there are so many denominations that preach the same thing only slightly different?
Which denomination is the right one?
Which one do you need to ''win'' people into?
How come Your Church,My Church,Our Church is the right Church?
How come there are so many Bibles?
How come there are so many contradictions in Christianity,yet only man has contradictions?
How come your,my,or our interpretation of the Scriptures is the right interpretation?
Where in the Bible does it talk about ''winning'' people?

i recommend staying away from argument type convos. just start with the basics... in the beggining was the word... and genisis. also about Jesus and the cross ressurection. the word is alive. once the seed is planted there isnt anything else you can do, unless God uses you to water also. you dont have to convince them, allow me to give my experience...
one time a man told me when he first met me God told him i was His. he ministered to me all i listed above over and over and then asked me do you get it now. i said i did but i had no clue. it was a few years later i got light on these scriptures. and i was like wow this is big, real big. he tried to beat me in the head with the bible, only to his frustration. God had a time table. looking back even futher i can say as early as 4 or 5 years old God was already at work on my heart. it wasnt until i was in my early 20's he moved on my heart. once the word is in you its there. we may not see our labors come to the fruition state but God will accomplish what his word was sent out to do.

The good news is God can be on your team, and it's the wining team.

The following verses outline the outcome of faith in Jesus.

The Word of God has been under attack since the beginning. "satan commeth immediately and taketh away the word..."

satan wants to be LIKE the Most High God. His followers can be transformed into ministers of righteousness and his counterfeit "bibles" (400+ modern per-versions and counting) into The Holy Bible.

Today's per-versions and lex-icons, copyrighted by unsaved men who claim ownership of them, are easily spotted by the discerning.

If I were to distill all the arguments, this one fact tells it all:

There are about 5000 extant (existing) manuscripts and autographs from which we get our Holy Bible. The Holy Bible (KJV) is based on over 99 percent of that 5000 (commonly known as the Majority Text or Received Text). However, ALL modern versions are based upon the remainder (less than 1 percent) and which were rejected by the translators as CORRUPT.

Thank you all for the good advices. Is really sad sometimes when we start sharing the Gospel, and our experience in Jesus , and some people seem to not receieved it. But I agree , we are to plant the seed , and the Holy Spirit will continue the work.

my experiance has been that no you will not always win an argumenet about the word and to be totaly honest God doesnt need us to defend His word ..IT STANDS ON ITS OWN...how ever ive had many try to provoke me into the same heated argument because i am a wittness for God ..heres what ive always done ..as they ask me all the pertanat questions they have my answer is this. I DONT KNOW.the three hardest words for a christain to utter..BUT GOD is waiting for you to seek Him out and i know that if you r willing to get on youre knees and ask God above He is quick to provide any answers you need .God is not a man that he should lie and it says in his word that if we seek Him we will find Him..May i pray with you for the knowalge you seek?..it stuns them and stops the fight and allows God to revel things by His Holy spirit ..God can put a unctuion in the heart of men to seek Him out and i promise that the holy spirit will reval the differance of what is right and wrong to thier heart ..all we can do is plant the seed and if we do this very simple thing God does the rest ..ive had many unbelivers tell me that they never hear i dont know and it drops thier gaurd aginst hearing the word ....God equips us but He alone holds all the answers..Hope this helps ...REV
