Who are God's chosen people of the Bible?

one of God's chosen

According to the Holy Bible, "God's chosen people," also called the elect and the remnant, are all born again followers of Jesus Christ.

Israel, not the ''state'' of Israel,Israel as a people that God never cast away(Romans 11:1) and who went in to Assyrian captivity and are fulfilling the covenants and prophecies today!

I am "Israel"

"Israel" is the collective identity established by the LORD for His chosen people. At the cross, physical Israel rejected the promise from God that required them to be "born again" and they forfeited their birthright. Those that responded to Christ fulfilled their destiny and entered in to Christ, continuing as the sons of God and retaining their standing as the seed of Abraham - even as their now spiritually constituted family was joined by responsive Gentiles (the wild olive branch of Romans 11:17) -- thus becoming "the Israel of God" (Galatians 6:16).

God has never forsaken Israel as per Romans 11.

Rom 11:1-5 NKJV I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. (2) God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying, (3) "LORD, THEY HAVE KILLED YOUR PROPHETS AND TORN DOWN YOUR ALTARS, AND I ALONE AM LEFT, AND THEY SEEK MY LIFE"? (4) But what does the divine response say to him? "I HAVE RESERVED FOR MYSELF SEVEN THOUSAND MEN WHO HAVE NOT BOWED THE KNEE TO BAAL." (5) Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
.

Rom 11:28-29 NKJV Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers. (29) For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

Paul makes it clear collective Israel's blindness it temporary and gentile believers should not be ignorant or "wise in your own opinion" of this.

Rom 11:25-27 NKJV For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. (26) And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "THE DELIVERER WILL COME OUT OF ZION, AND HE WILL TURN AWAY UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB; (27) FOR THIS IS MY COVENANT WITH THEM, WHEN I TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS."

As Paul said, "All Israel is not Israel."

There are two Israel's - one saved, one unsaved.

Paul said ...

Rom 9:6 NKJV But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel,

Which means not all Israelites are obedient to God. Only those who repent and believe the Gospel will be saved. ie. those who "rend their heart and not their garments".

The Israel of God are those who repent and believe the Gospel. ie Messianic Jews.

You all seem to be forgetting that Israel was meant to fulfill covenants and prophecies...
How can a spiritual Israel do so or how can Messianic Jews do so?
...You also seem to be forgetting the Assyrian captivity, and what happened to Israel during that captivity and afterwards.

Luke 19:10:For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Only Israel was lost.
You also seem to be under the impression that ''gentile'' means non-Jew - FULL STOP,am I correct?

one body

I am of the Lord's chosen people; I am a born again bondservant of Jesus Christ; I am of the remnant; I am spiritual Israel. Thank you, Lord!

Can you explain ''spiritual Israel''?

As Israel was a literal people.......

Genesis 32:28:And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

Simply put. Gods chosen people are Israel after the flesh. They are dear unto him. They do not constitute all of the seed of promise but only that which God chose by election, a people unto himself. God also chose to take a people unto himself out of the Gentiles for the purpose of provoking his own stiffnecked people. Because God loved the whole world, he sent Jesus. Through Jesus, everyone on the face of the whole Earth has the opportunity to become one of Gods people, his dear children. To those whom accept and receive God as God, Jesus will be both Lord and Savior. As a Gentile believer in Christ understand your significance in the plan of God. The very purpose of your being is to provoke Gods chosen people unto salvation by being the light of the world that they once were supposed to be by covenant relationship. Let us work for the Lord to achieve this end and please our God as the bride of Christ, his help meet.

Please notice that after Paul shares his testimony of his love for Israel, he spends the next few chapters giving understanding to the Gentile believers so that they may actually shine as the light for Israel. In chapters 1-8 of Romans, Paul covers the true Gospel of God and what it takes to be saved. It is only after this he speaks of Gods chosen people and what is to become of them. Israel was chosen by God to bear a light unto the world as his people and forsook him. But the calling and election of God is without repentance. They are and always will be Gods chosen people.

28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. 29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. 30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: 31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. 32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

The depth and the riches....

In a manner of speaking, some believe that non Christians become Jewish in the sense that they become "circumcized spiritually". This has been a bone of contention between some parties. Other churches believe that circumcism (spiritual or otherwise) is no longer necessary because circumcism is part of the Law, not part of Grace.
Even if this is true, God has always chosen Israel as his chosen nation, indeed Christianity came through the Jews. (Jesus was a Jew, most of the disciples were Jews, The majority of the New Testament was written by Jews).
