Hello,Brothers and Sisters
I am a Christian who does not believe in the pre-trib rapture doctrine.
I once tried to believe it. Studied it,went to classes to defend it.Questioned my salvation because I could not believe in a pre-trib rapture.
God opened my eyes to the fact that it is a modern day false doctrine.
Christ shall return once and only once. He did not give us the Gospel Armour to fly away with,nor does He do a troop withdrawal before the battle.
II Thessalonians ch.2 Clearly states we will NOT GATHER back to Christ untill after the anti-christ stands in Jerusalem saying he is God.

interesting having our "doctorines" in our special boxes , dumbed on the floor , sometimes even over and over again.. till we hold most of them very very lightly.... is hard sometimes.. and for the most part I agree with your basic idea or concepts .. though I lean to something between mid and post but even weirder than those 'terms' alone could even imply......

I will leave at I am positive we are all in for a lot of surprises! BIG BIG surprises ! maybe just like what happened to the jews the first time He came, now they were surprised !!

But this the last time it is us who carried "his name" we are supposed to be the bearers of HIS LIFE..it is the 'churches' turn to get "surprised!!"/tested for real and put the proof in the puddin . maybe I think is to find out " who knows the "bridegrooms" voice, just like the jews were tested ,, maybe "so no man can boost".
Now that testing shouldn't shock anyone really.
But yes in the Bible those 7 years are dimly lit I suspect probably for his own very good reasons .
and mostly revelation just says 'blessed are those who read the words of this book'.. there is a blessing for knowing those words! that is all.
I don't think we are able to figure it out or even too close till his exact timing, even probably as it it unveiled and or even happening.. and even if you think you got it figured out.. well just be prepared for have those doctrines dumped on the floor again too.. We are just to write all of his words from all the books in our hearts , 'study to show ourselves approved' etc I do not think it means we have to figure it all out and have it all "nailed" down .
it is way more important in this age that we learn to hear him in the moments for our direction.
but yes I am sure we are in for some whopper size surprises!

Mid Trib here---But am prepared to go all the way through if necessary---Am definitely watching carefully each and every day.

Well, I agree with you---It's imperative that we not make an issue of such things---What is of paramount importance is that we are found faithful at His coming and always looking up as our redemption draweth near----The whole Trib timing thing has no relevance at all----It's all about loving Jesus and being ready in the twinkling of an eye, with full lamps----Suppose the best way to handle it is to prepare yourself for Post and if anything happens prior to that, then PRAISE THE LORD.

I am concerned that the pre-tribbers are in for the biggest surprise.
Not prepared for what's ahead, they remind me of the 5 foolish virgins.
I suppose being old enough to remember the begining of this new wave of pre-trib teaching makes me very opposed to it.
It's reminds me of the Church of the Laodiceans.
In a sense they are saying we have it made,nothing is going to happen to use,we are going to be out of here before things get bad.
Col.H.Speed Wilson,U.S. Marines (ret.) wrote a very good book on the subject of pre-trib. "Rapture a Dangerous Deception" I would suggest anyone who has been exposed to the pre-trib "bail out" doctrine read this book.
Also Dave MacPherson's Incredible Cover Up and Rapture Plot will expose the origins of the pre-trib rapture doctrine.

well this is all true. I have not read those books . but I have come to a even more strange stance. you know it doesn't end at the tribulation either right?
I don't believe we can get complacent until the thousand years is over and we are looking the father right in the face, even then I doubt we should be getting complacent in his presence .. and everything only then is made new. I do not think complacency has any room in HIS real LIFE the one he is offering.
we forget that there is still 1000 years after the 7 years which is still an age of man's 7000 years allotment and sin and death still exsists here then. at the end of that the enemy is released and there is a WAR , ONLY THEN comes the last judgement.
We haven't even started the last age much less the 7 years and everyone is already complacent because they are "saved" because they crossed a certain way or said a certain prayer and so are now 'children of God'.... just like the jews proclaiming so very proudly that they were "sons of Abraham". as if that alone bought them something.
it buys us only a opportunity to pursue him. we got to catch him to be saved! and he can't be caught till after the 1000 years!
yes what did Jesus tell them? yep he can make more of those "from rocks.." and well he can make more of us from rocks too right!
and if he can Cut them off how much more can he cut us off his linear descent.
I sure dont' think it is time to get complacent! and some haven't even started and went on vacation. no vacations till I am staring down the Father face to face and can Catch him..and even then I will ask him if it is ok for me to be complacent , and how long it is I can be complacent which I guess means that I am not being complacent at all, but just going on a 'vacation'!!

what I know for sure is we have a 1000+7 of working in and for the kingdom..plus a couple of wars on earth and in the heavens yet to fight for the lord , before I will ask for or take ,a by then a probably much deserved vacation or in anyway become anything close be becoming complacent ! either way I am going to be getting my instructions for vacation time from big Daddy!:shade:

I'm not sure we should be in this area of the forum,discussing this subject.
But, the truth of the matter is this,"It ain't over till the fat lady sings"...lol
According to Revelation 20 after satan has been released from the pit as many as the sands of the sea will follow him again. That's after the 1000 year reign of Christ on this earth. It's hard to comprehend that so many will still choose satan and his lies over the Truth they have been taught during the Millenial Reign.
It appears to me that the modern day pre-trib rapture teaching is nothing more than ear tickling.
