Hey everyone,

I just joined and haven't finished perusing through the site yet, but I'm sure there is a lot of discussion on prophecies and such on here that I am really looking forward to discussing. For anyone that's interested I have begun a blog on end times prophecies encouraging discussion, rather than a "me tell-you listen" format. It will eventually go through everything straight from scripture, pulling ideas from different theories into my own belief of how events are going to go, according to the current state of our world.

I would love for anyone interested to let me know what they think of it so far, and also to add anything they either agree with, or can contradict. After all, we are looking for the truth ;)

I know I cannot post links, which makes sense to prevent spammers, so anyone who wants to have a look let me know! I'm looking forward to discussing things here as well anyways

We have a mixed bag ahead. Very good times for the church, not so good times for those in unbelief. Right now we are seeing the beginning of an incredible transfer of wealth to the church just like there was back in Egypt when the Israelites left. So its not all doom and gloom.

The only problem with the church, and the transfer of wealth that I see, and this is not to offend anyone, but I believe the Catholic Church has a big a role as the Anti Christ in the end times as the the false prophet, and the second beast that will have nearly as much influence as the Anti Christ himself.

If anyone is familiar with Lord Monckton and his speeches against the lies that is Global Warming, they will know in his conference last year he explained the details of the treaty Obama has signed in Copenhagen is giving the wealth of the nations in the west to the 3rd world countries as a "debt" that we have caused from pollution which is rubbish.

This is all a movement towards the 1 world nation and 1 world religion the bible prophecies, and it's interesting when you consider that Islam boasts nearly a billion members worldwide, as does the catholic church, and the similarities between those two religions are as remarkable as they are different from Christianity. Though as of now there is no proof, and much of the end times concerning these issues cannot be explained until they happen, Islamic prophecies are similar, but almost reversed to those in the Bible, and there is a notion that Catholicism has placed Islam where it is as a pseudo-catholicism for political purposes, making them both corrupt from the start. I will admit that part of the history is mere supposition with evidence but no proof, and I would love nothing more than have people, including Muslims if there are any on this board, to discuss all the possibilities academically, sans hostility.

All of these topics will be addressed in my blog as soon as I can have time to write up, and publish the next ones. INRI, I cannot post links I don't think so I can pm it, it is also in my profile.

When I say church, I'm not referring to the vatican or any church institution. I'm referring to Christians. We have a covenant with Abba and we should not be concerned about these times, no matter how challenging they look in the natural. God is faithful to His covenant. This will be the greatest time the body of Christ has ever seen. The benjamin generation is alive today and this is the generation that receives the most grace. We're on the rpecepts of seeing he greatest revival kickoff that we've ever seen in the age of grace. So its going to be an exciting time for Christians. Unfortunately, many in the church today talk Tribulation all the time, yet don't realize that the Book of Revelation is a mirror image of the Book of Genesis. So while Christ's return is closer than its ever been, God certainly has one great move planned to bring in as many souls as he can before the "rapture." People are going to start looking up to God for answers. And i firmly believe that this is the time that all Christians should be investing in God's bulletproof financial system. And that's tithing, bringing offerings, sowing and reaping. Everyone is talking about going out and buying precious metals but few are talking about making God your source and backing that up by bringing Him what is His. That's every Christians best defense against any economic disaster. God's system of sowing and reaping will prosper any Christian in any economic climate, regardless of the what the world says. Jesus is my salary and I have faith in my Lord honoring my covenant with Him. I will not lack in my house. Never have and I never will because the Lord is my source!

Now where does this fit in to your end times discussion????---I haven't seen a thread up addressing this and was curious of others input on it---I realize that it's not given to us to know the Lords timing of His return and that throughout history we have had many, many false end time prophecies.

I had a link up but I don't have enough posts to post a link----I'm referring to Campings May 21, 2011 rapture prophesy, (And Nov 21 end of the world)

Happy

I know what your talking about, and to be honest I'm not sure, I've never looked into his ministry closely. In my opinion May 2011 is a bit too soon, but anytime within the next 5 years is definitely feasible.

Anyone claiming exact dates however, I am skeptical of simply because there is no basis for discovering an exact date other than media stir, which brings attention and possibly money for them.

I just went to another site and found out he is the same guy who previously predicted Sept 1994---So that says enough for me.

Not even Jesus knows when the day will come. If the son of God hasn't been told, why would some hairy, old, balding sinner know!? I think we are in the end times but these "times" could last for centuries, Jesus said many wars will be fought and many natural disasters will occur during the end times, while Paul said the godless will be large during the end times. The day will never be known to us but I think we are in the end times. Thing is, everything could seem peaceful one day and a few wars could be won, humans could just have come back from Mars and medical discoveries are on high and then *BOOM* meteorites just start hitting us and thus begins the end times...

ACR, I will be quite honest with you. Other people may not like this, but I think the tribulation period will be BOTH the most horrible AND the most glorious time in history. In the midst of the awful trials, God's power in and through His chosen and broken vessels will shine like at no other time in history. When we are weak, He is strong. I believe we will definitely be here during the tribulation period and will suffer greatly - not to our destruction, but for our purification, as gold tried in the fire. God will bring forth miracles using the "living dead men" who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. It will be the time of the "greater works":

John 14:12 (New American Standard Bible)

12"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and (A)greater works than these he will do; because (B)I go to the Father.

From what I understand, money is the currency of the devil. Why will God dump the filthy "wealth" of the world on His precious church? God is much more glorified when we are poor and He is our provider. Look at how the apostles lived. Were they rich? No, but look what they accomplished without money.

Acts 3:6 (New American Standard Bible)

6But Peter said, "I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: (A)In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene--walk!"

Wouldn't you much rather possess the gift of miracles than have all the money in the world? I would.

I basically see the believers on the earth until just before the bowls of wrath are poured out. They will be gathered together with the Lord in the air to overthrow the wicked powers of the air (Satan is the prince of the power of the air) and will assist the angels in pouring out the bowls of wrath (I think). The Lord and his mighty ones, the overcoming saints, will descend on white horses to overthrow the wicked world rulers, who will be so deceived that they will think that they can defeat a spiritual army that comes from Heaven. Then Jesus will set up His Kingdom on the earth, which He will rule from Jerusalem. He will assign His overcomers to rule the earth in righteousness:

Isaiah 32:1 (New King James Version)

Isaiah 32

A Reign of Righteousness

1 Behold, a king will reign in righteousness,
And princes will rule with justice.

That is the sequence as I see it right now. How close we are to the one world government being set up, I don't know. It does seem like the present political environment is making way for the anti-Christ to come on the scene, but then again it may take many more years.

If you use your own interpretations of the prophesies and teach them to others, then you'll be lying to everyone. Only God can interpret the prophesies.

No where in the Bible does it say money is currency of the Devil. It rightly teaches the following:-

LK 16:13 "No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money."

LK 16:14 The Pharisees, who loved money, heard all this and were sneering at Jesus. 15 He said to them, "You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of men, but God knows your hearts. What is highly valued among men is detestable in God's sight.

The Bible only teaches us that THE LOVE OF MONEY is evil.

Nothing wrong with money in itself. In fact God instructed Moses to collect money to redeem the firstborn of Israel. So if money was of the Devil how could it be acceptable to GOD?

NU 3:44 The LORD also said to Moses, 45 "Take the Levites in place of all the firstborn of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites in place of their livestock. The Levites are to be mine. I am the LORD. 46 To redeem the 273 firstborn Israelites who exceed the number of the Levites, 47 collect five shekels for each one, according to the sanctuary shekel, which weighs twenty gerahs. 48 Give the money for the redemption of the additional Israelites to Aaron and his sons."

NU 3:49 So Moses collected the redemption money from those who exceeded the number redeemed by the Levites. 50 From the firstborn of the Israelites he collected silver weighing 1,365 shekels, according to the sanctuary shekel. 51 Moses gave the redemption money to Aaron and his sons, as he was commanded by the word of the LORD.

The fact is money has good uses and is used in the service of God. Money was collected by the disciples in the early Church and distributed to those who were in need.

God made all things, it is how we use it that makes it sinful or good.

NOTE:-, the Mark of the Beast is required to buy and sell it is not money but a mark of ownership. The Holy Spirit is a mark of ownership that we are Gods. That is why those who take the mark of the beast will face the same pusnishment as the Devil.

REV 14:9 A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: "If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, 10 he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name." 12 This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God's commandments and remain faithful to Jesus.

2CO 1:21 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, 22 set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

Without money you cannot feed and cloth and care for your family or yourself. So sounding pious that we don't need money is a frivilous statement to make. A worker is worth his wages and God said that because we need it to eat and live. Otherwise we would starve to death. I am a farmer's daughter and know you cannot grow and make everything you need yourself. You need some form of money to get other things like medical treatment and farming equipment, pay for petrol to run your vehicles and farm machinery.

Fantastic analysis April, and Melody. But I have to say, the Lord does not say to give money to the church, he says to give it to the poor and to use what you have to serve GOD. That is why I fundamentally disagree with the Catholic Church as an organization. The pope and cardinals etc. live quite lavishly.

And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's. Luke 20:25

Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go [and] sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come [and] follow me. Matthew 19:21

Greed is a deadly sin, currency and economies are an evolution of the society man was intended to build.

With this, I disagree at least at a holistic assessment of the statement. I do not believe that only GOD can interpret the prophesies..they ARE GOD's revelations, shown unto man. How are they meant to be only for GOD to interpret, but given to man as a prophecy of the end times?

What I do agree with, is that GOD is the only one who KNOWS everything. We are meant to read our Bibles, and interpret everything. No one is to take anything for granted that anyone tells them without referring back to the Bible for their own clarification as the BIBLE is the only absolute truth, being the word of GOD.

The interpretations I present are preceded with the term "theory" as they are obviously unproven, and unprovable until they happen, all we can do is attempt to line up the prophecies the best we can, with the events that are happening as some prophecies have already come to fruition, such as Israel returning to the world as a nation, and the Jews would return to their homeland, as we see quite clearly in Israel's Law of Return, in 1950 (google it because I cannot post links)

Hosea 3:4-5 - "For the Israelites will live many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred stones, without ephod or idol. Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the LORD and to his blessings in the last days."

Hosea 6:1 - "Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds."

Ezekiel 20:34 - "I will bring you from the nations and gather you from the countries where you have been scattered -- with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and with outpoured wrath."

Isaiah 11:11-12 NIV - "In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria, from Lower Egypt, from Upper Egypt, from Cush, from Elam, from Babylonia, from Hamath and from the islands of the sea. He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; he will assemble the scattered people of Judah from the four quarters of the earth."

The end times are near, I believe, and that is the most important thing to recognize. The rest of the details are simply of interest, the same way people have an interest in history, or science, or languages.

I don't support Churches to take far more money than they need for the basic care of it's buildings and ministers.

The Bible without a doubt says we are to support those who serve the Lord.

1CO 9:7 Who serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat of its grapes? Who tends a flock and does not drink of the milk? 8 Do I say this merely from a human point of view? Doesn't the Law say the same thing? 9 For it is written in the Law of Moses: "Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain." Is it about oxen that God is concerned? 10 Surely he says this for us, doesn't he? Yes, this was written for us, because when the plowman plows and the thresher threshes, they ought to do so in the hope of sharing in the harvest. 11 If we have sown spiritual seed among you, is it too much if we reap a material harvest from you? 12 If others have this right of support from you, shouldn't we have it all the more?
But we did not use this right. On the contrary, we put up with anything rather than hinder the gospel of Christ. 13 Don't you know that those who work in the temple get their food from the temple, and those who serve at the altar share in what is offered on the altar? 14 In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel.

It is clear we are to pay our ministers so they can live.

The Catholic Church and some others fleece their flock for sure, the Bible teaches against ripping off your congregation.

1PE 5:1 To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder, a witness of Christ's sufferings and one who also will share in the glory to be revealed: 2 Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, serving as overseers--not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; 3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. 4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.

I agree with you greed is a sin and some pastors are guilty of peddling the gospel for money.

Not all pastors are greedy and in the job for the money.

Some are true servants of the Lord and it would be wrong for the congregation to neglect supporting them and their families.

Christians need to be discerning of what Church or Fellowship they attend and support financially.

Well with this then I think we agree. Of course anyone who is devoting all their time to their congregation has no time for suitable income from other sources, and thus need money from church funds. Everyone deserves what they are due, nothing more nothing less.

Of course now we are off topic :)
