Some additional info on "some" of the names:
Pontifix Maximus is a papal title meaning in Latin "chief bridge maker" between earth and heaven.
However, Jesus Christ is the only One who can claim this title because "no man cometh unto the Father,
but by me." John 14:6. This was a title of the Roman Caesars and of the Roman Emperors of paganism.
Holy Father is a title the pope claims for himself. However, this title occurs only once in the Bible,
and used when Jesus addresses His Heavenly Father in John 17:11 in His great prayer before His betrayal,
arrest and crucifixion.
Father is a title that every Roman Catholic priest claims for himself and expects to be called.
Jesus warns in Matthew 23:9 "Call no man your father upon the earth:

The catholic priest is not regarded in Scripture to be anyone's spiritual father.
Monsignor This means "my Lord", and this clearly is a title belonging only to God, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Hey Davy............ Antichrist....... Or Anti-Anointing (For many are in the Word) Is anything that would disrupt the Anointing of God in a believers life... This is a rejection of Jesus (The Anointed one and his anointing) but more against God's Anointed.

A spirit will not confess that Christ has come in the flesh, or that someone can be filled with the power and anointing of God. Jesus included.

The Term Antichrist as a end time bad guy was just given once by John and the term has stuck..

He is also called the son of perdition. He works with the false prophet in the last days, and breaks his treaty with Israel.

The term Anti-Christ is only found in 1st and 2nd John.
It is also used in the plural, with only a Singular saying he is coming. Now there is no reason to presume that the "antichrist" was anymore than some prominent person of the day who spoke and anti-christian message publically. That certainly appears to be the context of these epistles.

To say that there is only one apocalypse bearing anti-christ is not biblical, instead I believe Davy has hit the nail of what Scripture wants to tell us on the head. That is the denial of Jesus is the anti-christ. So for example that scripture tells us something about Dawkins...Not that he heralds the end of the world, but that he is an antichrist in the pure Johannine sense.

Kevin The Antichrist individual is not even revealed yet. I though you were going to drop this "pope is the Antichrist" stuff in favor of getting to know Jesus better.

We've talked about two things now in this topic. The spirit of Antichrist. and The Antichrist. The one mentioned in verse 7 and below.

I think that is a very good and practical position to take.
But of course, a biblical discussion will always bring up topics which play little significance in the practical side of the faith.

I don't have any blindfold on. I don't agree with you. If you studied the Jewish wedding feast a little, you'd understand that God is not going to have the bridegroom beaten to a pulp by the enemy, just before the wedding feast. Jesus is not the only one that has spoken in the Bible. The Holy Spirit has too. There is plenty of Old Testament verse discussing the "rapture." Its all hidden there. Uncover it brother. I believe everything Jesus said and I believe everything the Holy Spirit has said in the Bible. You can't just take the scriptures that you agree with to make your point and dismiss the ones that contradict your position. Anyway, I'm not going to get into a whole "rapture" debate by pulling out all the OT verse. If you don't believe and you want to stay and fight th dummy antichrist, then by all means stay behind. Thankfully the Lord is not going to let you have your way because He knows its foolishness to stay behind.
