Miracles

READ: Luke 5:4-11 and John 11:43-44: Various miracles of Jesus
Hebrews 2:4 (CEV) "God himself showed that his message was true by working all kinds of powerful miracles and wonder."

Skepticism, doubt, and disbelief are widely observed in our day. The world has largely lost sight of spiritual values and has become accustomed to acknowledge only that which they can see or feel. Not only this, but the world has also become immersed in the physical realm, which is governed and controlled by the so-called “laws of nature,” and have usually reached a conclusion that nothing exists which can transcend the material order of things. Hence, miracles are an impossibility.

Dictionary.com defines a miracle as an "...event that appears inexplicable by the laws of nature and so is held to be supernatural in origin or an act of God." This definition is correct. A true miracle is an act of God. Whatever He does is beyond the realm of man. The “laws of nature” are nothing more than acts of God that are being accomplished in a quiet way. There can be no laws without a Lawgiver. The “laws of nature” are secondary causes, while God is the primary agent. He causes the sun to shine, the rain to fall, the grass to grow, and both fruit and grain to ripe. He is the ultimate source of every miracle on earth.

Genesis 18:14 "'I am the LORD! There is nothing too difficult for me.'"
Waiting for a miracle? God's done plenty of them already. There is nothing He can't handle. Ask Him today to help you remember and trust in His unlimited resources.

Faith Lesson: "Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'"--Matthew 19:27

With God All things are possible

For the past year God has clearly shown me a path I am to go down. And I have seen many miracles in my journey. It's been a tough journey and we have not reached the "end results" yet. But along the way the unexplained occurred and I was blessed by a miracle.

When I look at the "big picture" it is scary and certainly something that I could not undertake. But God has me take it "one step at a time". There is no doubt that I couldn't have gotten this fair with his hand heavily involved.

The toughest battles like ahead, yet I am confident that God will get me through each of them. And when I set and try to comprehend the whole thing ... I come close to panic. And I hear God tell me, to keep it organized into manageable chunk and only work on it one chunk at a time. God gets me through that next chunk ... and then I pray for wisdom on which challenage to go after next.

Isn't our God an awesome God.

There isn't another to compair HIM to. God has always come through for me when I couldn't help myself. There isn't a day that I don't see something God wants me to see. Each day is like a new begining and I can't wait to se what God has for me next.
