Preach The Gospel!

I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ. Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the saints.

Philemon 1:6,7 NIV

Though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls.

1 Peter 1:8,9 NASB

Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

1 Corinthians 9:26,27 NIV

Thanks be unto God for His wonderful gift:
Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God
is the object of our faith; the only faith that
saves is faith in Him.

"No One Can Oppose You"

Job said:

No one can oppose you,
because you have the power
to do what you want.

You asked why I talk so much
when I know so little.
I have talked about things
that are far beyond
my understanding.

You told me to listen
and answer your questions.
I heard about you from others;
now I have seen you
with my own eyes.

That's why I hate myself
and sit here in dust and ashes
to show my sorrow.

Job 42:1-6 CEV

Interesting passage you shared with us in Job.
Some days I find myself saying .... to me: "I hate you .... " It's typically when I reflect on something I did that landed me in a given situation.

I think Christ doesn't want me to dwell on these negative thoughts. Aftreall in Psalm 138:14 he said .... I am fearfully and wonderfully made ...

I'm praying and working hard to stop saying "I hate you" and start saying "God loves you ... "

What are other's thoughts on this?

Hate shouldn't be apart of our words but I know how we get when things get out of control since we are human. The bible say we can be angry but sin not. Let's always try edify each other and look beyond the problem.
