So where is it? There must be one instance in the Bible where Jesus refused to heal somebody. Or where God said. No. I want you sick so you can learn something.

If its not there, it must not be true.

So then healing is for everybody Now. There is no place that I can find in the Bible where God makes us wait till heaven for anything else.

Amen Jiggy!!! God's timing is everything. Like the day when Jesus raised Lazarus coming sooner would not have had the same result.

Ok Jigger. Let me answer your question with a couple others....What kind of person is Jesus? and If Jesus came to save us from sin so we could spend eternity with Him, why is not everybody saved?
So many will go to hell instead of heaven. Why?

I think the reason that the Bible does not lay it out explicitly is because sickness, failing health and death were a part of everybody's life. The remarkable thing is that some people were healed, not that some people continued to live with sickness.

Paul had to live with his thorn in the flesh, whatever it was.

And remember Paul's instruction to Timothy 1 Timothy 5:23

Why prescribe wine if there is universal healing? Clearly neither Paul or Timothy knew that healing is for everybody now.

You don't get healed from a demon. Not any more than you get them out by praying.

If healing is available to everyone now, then this passage makes no sense. It looks forward to a time when our bodies are imperishable. It is something that will happen in the future.

If we could lay hold of this now, surely the Bible would tell us so.

Jesus' healing ministry was a sign that God's Kingdom is breaking through. He defeated sin, death, sickness and fear on the cross, but we are still waiting on his return for the Kingdom in all its fullness.

Well then. I'll just say that if you want to live sick go for it. Me? I've seen too much of the power of God healing folks today. Me included.
