How are we saved?

God gave life to our soul (Romans 8:13) by gifting it with His Spirit (Ezekiel 36:27). When we rebelled against Him and rejected His Spirit our soul lost its life. This brought eternal damnation upon us. However, because of this infinite mercy, God reinstalled His Spirit in us by sacrificing His own life for our sins. This free gift of God to us is His grace. All we have to do to be saved from eternal death is to accept His Spirit which He expressed by His sacrificial act. To accept it is have enough faith in it to live it (Galatians 5:16). To live His Spirit we must love one another as He has loved us (John 15:12). We must, therefore, put our life on line in the process of helping those who betray us and are unfaithful to us. We must also keep the commandments (Mark 10:17, 18); forgive others without any limit (Matt. 18:35); love our enemies (Luke 6:27-36); keep our marriage covenant permanent (Mark 10:1-12); and be humble (1 Corinthians 13:4), non-judgmental (Luke 6:37), charitable (Matt 25:31-46) and merciful (Mark 9:33-37). Some of these teachings may be hard to follow; but if we hold on to the truth till the end we will be saved (Matt 10:22; 24:13; & Mark 13:13).

Hmmm.

Are you saying that a divorced person is lost?

and be humble (1 Corinthians 13:4),
Granted, if I am not humble then I am walking in the flesh; but if I am are you saying that I am lost?

Are you saying that my actions are what save me in the end?

My actions?

Why do you put this yoke on my neck? It is ONLY by the Grace of Jesus Christ by which I am saved.

What you bring up in your post is more the fruits of being saved. If Christ is living in you, you change for the better; regeneration.
Acts 16:30b-31
“Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
We are not able to bear any requirements of our own merit.

That is why it is called Grace.

1Co 4:15 For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

1Co 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1Co 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

2Ti 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

1Co 1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
1Co 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

i3:4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
Tit 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Tit 3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
Tit 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

As one abides in the Vine one will manifest the life of the Vine that permeates and flows through them. This will express itself as the nature of the Vine in love, mercy, etc.

We saved only by the grace of God. When we are saved we do not live by flesh but by the Spirit. What I have mentioned in my post is how those who are saved live.

If we have not lived by the spirit, we can change by accepting God's grace. We can accept God's grace by repenting and accepting Jesus' sacrificial life. If we have sincerely accepted Jesus it will show in the way we live.
