I'm not brave enough to go to church yet. All of my dealings with that have been rather bad. I don't blame anyone but it was just not pleasent for me. I ask to many questions, and am not remotely close to being well versed in the bible. My father sent me a bible for my birthday this years with a book called Search for Significance by Robert S. McGee. I was a bit taken aback because I have never been further from Christ than I was at that moment. My mind was and has been a wirl of thoughts and such hate for the God that my father believes in. But as the months have passed since my birthday (I told my father I would read the book, and so I am through my misgivings) I begin to wonder if I have been nothing but hurting myself in trying to believe that there is something besides that God that he believes in.
My sister lost her baby last week, and I was really hit hard by it. No it wasn't my baby that was lost but I was so mad so angry that God could let this happen to someone as wonderful as my sister. Then I realized as if hit by a ten ton brick. I may have had a horrible childhood, things happened to me that should never happen to any child. Ever! But that doesnt mean that it is Gods fault. My anger has slowly begun melting away. I have come here to learn and hopefully find friends who will be able to point me in the right direction.
I know no human can heal the wounds that I have suffered. My hope is that over time, I will have the ability to fill that void with the only one who can mend my broken heart. Jesus Christ
