One day, you will get up in the morning to discover that everything in your life has come together to form a beautiful and finished tapestry. This is the Lord’s perfection at work for you in your life. It comes as a result of knowing Him intimately, and from living according to His perfect will for you. This is when the enjoyment of the fruits of your labours begins, and is a time that many people can only dream about! This is when you can sit back and say, Thy kingdom has come, Thy will is being done, in Earth as it is in Heaven! (Refer Matthew 6:10 KJV.)

You will experience Heaven on Earth and you will be a glorious example and an inspiration to those around you. This is where many, many things start to come to fruition. It is a time of celebration for you as you now reap the bounty of His harvest. You have trusted, you have waited, you have lived and breathed God’s word into all of your situations, and you have learned to stand firm in your faith during trails and difficulties.

Some of you may say that it all sounds too good to be true, whilst others may say, ‘well, how do I get there from here?’ As you grow and mature in God’s word, you will find that you come to rely on Him for everything. You will not only live according to His will in your life, but you will come to learn how to apply His word into your everyday situations in order to live out the very best that God has in store for you. Deuteronomy 28:12 AMP says “The Lord shall open to you His good treasury, the heavens, to give you the rain of your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.”

Of course there will always be situations around you that will test your faith, but in time you will develop your faith muscles and you will know how to apply it and then stand firm in any event. There are many factors that can hinder your progress, among them being other peoples free will which can inadvertently affect what you are trying to achieve, but if you hold firm and place all your trust in the Lord, He will always work out everything for your good. It is written in Romans 8:28 AMP “We are assured and know that (God being a partner in their labour) all things work together and are (fitting into a plan) for good to and for those who love God and are called according to (His) design and purpose.”

Besides that, as a result of the changes in you, you will begin to see changes in your nearest and dearest, and eventually everyone will be on board! Acts 16:31 NKJV states “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” How good is that!

For those who are just beginning this journey, you will need to start reading God’s word in the Bible and see what it says about your particular situation. Do this with every issue that comes up, even the small things, and you will begin to automatically know what to say and do when presented with any obstacles. It is then just a matter of standing firm, and not losing faith that whatever you hope for will come about!

That’s it! It’s easy when you know how! There is no limit to what can be achieved for you in this life. God is ready and waiting to transform your life from the ordinary to the extraordinary. He did this for me, and He will do it for you too! Praise God!

All glory goes to the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit whom I believe has very generously provided me with these words herein. Praise God! Amen.

PS If you let Him, the Lord will open doors for you that only He can open, and shut the doors to your past, thereby releasing you from the ties that have bound you for so many years! Revelations 3:7 says “This is the message from the one who is holy and true. He has the key that belonged to David, and when he opens a door, no one can close it, and when he closes it, no one can open it.” Amen!

Thankyou and God bless you all...
Shepherd

IMO spiritual growth is not knowing the scriptures it is simply knowing Christ and He said in order to follow Him we must deny our "self" and take up our cross.

Amen Shepherd, you need to read the Word of God to know the truth.
To grow and to become like Jesus.

Thanks, Trish

Well it seems we disagree but I am sure it's no surprise:wink:

I find it strange that I see no mention of HolySpirit in either post and yet Jesus said that HolySpirit would lead us into all Truth. Sad that some believe that the bible is all one needs

If we need the bible to grow I wonder how the believers in the first two or three centuries made it? What of those who could not read? Wonder about those who could not read latin? Just a few questions to ponder.

Do you think not that men was moved by God to write the Holy Bible?
Do you not think the Bible is true?

Just because I did not mention the word Holy Spirit does not mean that I don't believe the Holy Spirit is involve.

I'll make a deal with you, answer my questions and then I'll answer yours.

You jigglyfly.

Well I'm not sure why you continue to ask me questions when I have made it very clear that until you answer my questions,

(now posted 3 times) I am not answering any of your questions. Maybe I should just assume that you dont have an answer or that the correct answer is known but would be conflicting with your opinion as stated in earlier posts. Either way this is as far as we can go until you asnswer my question with an answer, not another question.

The reason why I don't answer you because your definition to words are different from mine sometimes. Don't quite understand you so I ask questions to find the understanding.

Sorry if this upset you, that was not my purpose.

Then say you don't understand the questions and ask me to reword or define them.

so now what part of the questions are you having trouble understanding?

Don't understand where you said we don't need the Word of God, the written Word of God to grow.

If you don't read the Word of God or someone did not tell you about Chirst how can you receive the Word of God?

Was you able to receive Christ Jesus in your heart before hearing the gospel of Jesus through the written Word of God or through someone sharing the Word of God with you.

How did you become to know Christ?

I am sorry but I still don't see where you see that in my questions posed to you for the third no the fourth time. Let me re-re- requote myself.

Read carefully Trishann here is my questions to you.

Just so there is no further misunderstanding I will list the questions out with number reference and reword and make the questions more direct.

Question 1. How did the believers in the first two centuries grow without a bible?

Question 2. What of those who could not or can not read?

Question 3. What about those who could not read Latin?

The scriptures testify of Jesus in the Old and New Testament.

There are those who still cannot read but someone can speak the word of God to them.

If you disagree with my answers you are more than welcome to share your answers to your question.

Can you tell me now how you received Christ without reading the Word of God or someone not telling you about Christ, how you knew the knowlege to received Christ Jesus.

I do disagree with your answers because there is no scriptural or historical evidence to support your answers or opinion.

As far as how I came to believe in Jesus, I can honestly say that it was not from reading the bible nor from anyone reading the bible to me. Someone shared the gospel when I was nine in my parents livingroom and the HolySpirit came upon me and I became born- again spiritually and then began to speak in tongues. It wasnt until I was 12 that I even had my own bible and I really don't recall reading the bible any until I received that one.

To say it is impossible to grow in Christ or to know who Christ is without reading about Him is just illogical to me. It is the same as saying it is impossible to know your father or mother unless you have read their biography.

I know we will not agree on this subject but I just wanted to get to know you and understand. Thanks for sharing, :sweating:
