There is no religion or message in the entire world like the Gospel.

No religion in the world has a Cross and a Saviour bearing the sins of the whole world. The Cross is the great, profound, magnificent, unconquerable, unchangeable, and matchless truth.

It towers above all mere religious ideas. Acts 13:38.

If you want to evangelize, you must stand before people with the thought of Christ’s cross deeply etched on your very heart. If you get away from the Cross, you will be powerless and pointless. That Cross is the very substance of the Gospel.

Paul preached only Christ and Him crucified. 1 Corinthians 2:1-2

In his letters to the Corinthians, he obviously taught many things, but for him all truth swings around the Cross. He wrote to the Corinthians a long chapter about the resurrection, but it was about Christ who rose from the dead because He had won the victory on the Cross.

The foundation for all Christian truth is Christ crucified. This is the heart of the Gospel – and it must be preached.

Amen Stephen, I guess that is why I enjoy T.A. Sparks' teachings.

So when we evangelize, we should stay away from our own personal testimony? Not that I've ever gotten that far, but I've seen many Christian evangelists do that.

Hello Ed....Long time member. Good to communicate with you

The testimony is an important part of Christian life and witness. Paul revelled in proclaiming his testimony in the book of Acts. (22)

No one can dispute what God has done when a Christian gives 'their testimony'

In His Love
