Well if your hit by a nuclear attack, or a poison gas released into the air by evil men. Then there's not much you could do. Just make sure your ready for it if it does happen.
Steven was stoned by evil men while calling on the lord to receive his spirit, but he was harmless, a sheep for the slaughter. The apostle Paul was even there to witness it. We have to rely on God in a time like this, not men. And he will receive us into his heavenly kingdom by grace, like the grace Steven received.
Paul says he died daily in the flesh and was not afraid of death. O death were is your sting, O grave where is your victory. He even welcomed it at one point. So i guess im just speaking about the temptation of avenging ourselves, or taking the law into our own hands. This is not the bible way, scripture tells us the bible way, and i believe with all my heart that God will let what is to transpire, transpire.
The angel of the lord encamps around them that fear him But do you believe that? I do...
Rom 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but [rather] give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance [is] mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
Rev 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
Vengeance is the lords, as only his vengeance is true and righteous.
Im a little worried about some Christian Americans, as they have a bible in one hand, and a gun in the other. This is not the way God planed it...
Paul said to a priest that if he hit him, God would hit back. Giving God the vengeance that he only should give. Paul understood this and didn't use his own wisdom here, or threaten in a fleshly manner. He used his faith, and wisdom in this situation. We should do no less, if we have faith in our God...
Rom 12:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Rom 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
God bless all
