We are having our roofs replaced and it poured last night. One house was fine and my house had leaks all over the place. Water came in all over the house. I went up on the roof, with the contractor and ran more plastic to try and stop the leaks.

The homes are over 60 years old and instead of plywood they used regular lumber to cover the rafters. They are here right now and placing plywood over the boards and they’re going to try to paper it and run the shingles up. Pray for them that the rains hold off and the wind stays calm so they can finish. If they fall off the back side of my house they’ll get hurt and end up in the hospital.

"Hush! Be still!"

How I love to watch Father at work in the details! Yesterday we woke up to find a HUMONGOUS Willow tree (taller than our two-story house) had broke off at the trunk and fell ever so neatly sideways on our lawn. Now consider just a few short hours prior to its falling, my husband had been mowing beneath it...(he still keeps staring at it in amazement, thinking about what could have happened) and it is only a few yards from our house, and the way it was canted, it should have crashed over our roof and thru our windows...well GLORY to God all over this place!

Mar 4:37 A violent windstorm came up, and the waves began breaking into the boat, so that the boat was rapidly becoming swamped.
Mar 4:38 But Jesus was in the back of the boat, asleep on a cushion. So they woke him up and said to him, "Teacher, don't you care that we're going to die?"
Mar 4:39 Then he got up, rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Hush! Be still!" Then the wind stopped blowing, and there was a great calm.
Mar 4:40 He said to them, "Why are you such cowards? Don't you have any faith yet?"
Mar 4:41 They were overcome with fear and kept saying to one another, "Who is this man? Even the wind and the sea obey him!"

I am still and amazed at Gods' power..
