Along this line of eating bugs......
When I was a kid, I had to eat ants.
They were in the syrup, and when we pointed them out to my Step Dad he said those aren't ants, that just edges off the french toast! Eat it!

We had to obey, but they were sour, so knew he was wrong.
AS soon as he wasn't looking we dump them. YUK!

When I was a kid,

When I was a kid, I was not allow to cry so when I feel I need to cry, I will run to my bedroom, went inside the closet and cry on my pillow.
I use my closet to hid. My parent never knew that I would allow hid in the closet to cry. One day, I fell a sleep in the closet after crying for long time. My parent search for me for long time and just before my mom call the police, my dad found me. One bad thing is my parent can't call out my name because I am deaf. I sure freak out my parent. Later they found out from me that whenever I want to cry or get mad, I always hid inside the closet because it is the only place that get dark when I close the door.

In a way that is neat Pammie, we are exhorted to enter our closet, and pray.
May not mean literally, but why not?

When I was a kid, I use to have to help get wood, and carry water
from the spring.
Both were hard, but it taught me lessons of endurance, helpfulness, and obedience.
WE are all under authority, and we need to learn cooperation, and steadfastness.
In that they were Good years.

When I was a kid, I had a good voice, and liked to sing too, but then I had surgery on my nose, and cant sing a note on the right level!
