I have a friend that I used to work with and her name is Ingrid.
She has been with her husband since she was 16 and will soon be 40. He left her on September 1 and moved right in with another woman. I saw my friend yesterday for the first time since then and she is a totally different person. She is a mere shell of her former self, emotionally wrecked, and she is beside herself with how to live and care for her daughter alone.
Ingrid is a christian woman, she is in church and is saved. She has a 6 year old daughter and is trying her best to be strong for the little girl. Her husband spends time with their daughter but appears to have a bigger concern for the welfare of his girlfriend.
Ingrid is still living in their house and is afraid she can not continue to make the mortgage on her own. She has yet to go to court to settle the child support and all of the other stuff that goes along with it, so for now please pray that the Lord comforts her in this storm, gives her strength, peace, and a sound mind as she feels like she is spinning out of control with the pain of it all. Please pray for the Lord to help her financially as well so that she does not have to move her child from the only place she has even known.
Thanks for the time it takes to read this and pray. I love Ingrid and it really hurt my heart as if the pain was in me when I saw her yesterday. But I know from my own experience that we have an awesome God and He will see her through.
Thank You Lord for all of Your grace and mercy and love and please keep Ingrid in the embrace of Your arms and give her strength and comfort. I love you Lord and thank You for all that You will do in this situation. In Jesus name I pray.
