Hi I just came across this forum this morning and I have to say it was like a breath of fresh air. I am very confused and have many questions. From all that I have read on here so far everyone is informative and so encouraging. Thank you for letting me a part of your community.

Hello kalexa

I am sure you will be spiritually blessed here at Talk Jesus....and will find support in seeking answers to your questions from the brothers and sisters in Christ who meet here.

I pray that you discover more and more about our beautiful Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ and the treasures of His love.

God bless you

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39

Thank you so much for the words of welcome and encouragement. This is really what I need right now, I have questions about my own salvation and the salvation of family members. How many chances will God allow you before he closes the door???? Sigh, maybe this isn't the right forum to post these questions on and I apologize, but I am seeking answers to many things. Any advice is much appreciated.

Kalexa, Welcome to TalkJesus. My thought is that it would be good to post your questions regarding salvation in the Get Saved Now forum. I would also suggest that you read some of the past threads in that forum.

As to the question I've quoted here: because God deals with each of us individually, there's no set across-the-board maximum number of times. A person's decision to receive Christ is always the culmination of a series of events. For some, the process seems short and sweet; For others it is more drawn out.

Two Scriptures stand out as answers to your question:

Jeremiah 29:13 NIV - "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

Hebrews 11:6 NIV - "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him."

As long as we have breath sis.. hehehe:shade:

There are a lot of ways on how can God bring us to Himself, but if we continue to refuse till death, tsskk..tssk.. tssk.. then our chances had ended.

A great story for you to read.. Lazarus and the Rich Man Luke 16:19-31

God bless you..

Jeremiah 29:13 NIV - "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

Hebrews 11:6 NIV - "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him."

Amen
