Well.
As I posted:
So a follower of Christ is someone anointed of God with burden removing , yoke destroying power. Someone that is led by the Holy Ghost.
There is more to this. A condition.
Jesus said if you continue in my word, then you will be my disciples. (John 8:31)
Mat 10:24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
Mat 10:25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
Joh 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Christ dwell in our hearts by faith, or the anointed ones anointing dwell in our hearts by faith. Love and faith will operate the anointing of God.
A true fully grown disciple of Christ, is one that can be used by God to accomplish his will. Sadly, a lot of people go around telling people about Jesus (Which is good.) but have very little power operating in their lives. It takes faith, and constantly renewing your mind in the Word, to accomplish what God would really like to do.
After preaching a service at a small Church, a girl that had been strung out on drugs came up to me to give her life to Jesus. Someone I knew invited her, and told me a couple of days back this girl was having very serious stomach problems, and was going in and out of the doctors office.
Well, I led her though the prayer about giving her life to Jesus as she cried. She then did something unexpected, she looked at me in front of everyone and asked if God Could heal her stomach.
I have no idea where she came up with that one, I did talk about healing some, but in her mind, and being new, God could do anything.
I knew that the Name of Jesus was above the name of stomach problems, and that she had to be healed. (I had other thoughts, I was casting down though, as they were full of unbelief.)
So, In front of everyone I put my hand on her gut and I commanded the devil to let her loose and her stomach be healed right now in the name of Jesus.
I had not seen her for awhile after that, but got a report latter that she never had problems with her stomach again and was continuing going to church and got drug free. (please note, I have a long, long way to go, but have seen the name of Jesus raise the dead for a man strung out on heroin. Go figure that out.)
A disciple of Christ knows the will of his Master, does not doubt anything and is ready to step out in faith when God ask them to.
Jesus Is Lord.
