Not too long ago I went from a crewman to a crew cheif not too many PFC's get that chance straight out of schools. But it dawns on my that we're be going to Afganistan soon 6 to 7 months from now still uncertan, as a leader of Marines LCPL and above its my job to put my own life on the line to make sure they come back home alive. A responsibility not too many are too able take but I don't mind cause if I know I can bring two back alive I know I've done my job. So my friends I ask you to pray not only for me but my troops and their familys to give strength and comfort. I thank you very much blessing and semper fidelis.

Greetings Kaibeto,
I have been praying and shall do even more.... O that the need to go at all would cease, that the Lord would send His Spirit across the land of Afganistan and pour out His peace and restoration in the hearts of the people, that fighting would end, and His name be exalted and lifted high.
I pray too that you are given good measure of His Spirit and will draw men unto Christ by your life, the life you live in Him and He in you, brother.
Yes, and for safety, for your bodies and souls - safety from corruption while seeking to serve the Lord in all you do. Safety for your men, and a prayerful heart in those under you that you will be bound together in fellowship in Christ Jesus the Lord and bless each other with encouragement and prayer.

Lord move amongst these troops even now and may a wonderful work of Salvation be wrought, so that whatever the future holds for them in Afghanistan, they each have the security of a saved soul.

Lord, this broken world needs You so much. Give us loving hearts to pray more fervently and to care more deeply for lost souls caught up in all this war and destruction.
Thank You Jesus and despite the dark world around us may we never forget Your wonderful love and may we serve You by sharing that love more and more.

"The Lord will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul. The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forever."
Psalm 121:7-8
I hold fast to your words, that you will strengthen my brother, that you will protect him and his troops, a safe departure and a safe arrival. In full health, a whole body with a sound mind.
