I just want to say something . I see all that have looked in on this conversation . And i know there are some who will let thier children collect candy and others will not .

But at this moment , i am not talking about that subject .

I want to to know , being quiet in a public setting on any given issue , i find that disturbing .

Yes , i talk a lot . But to be honest , SO SHOULD YOU .

Stoking the Fire of God's Spirit is very important . And being quiet , well heck , let us let the devil have his way . Like Roe versus Wade . If the Christians had stood together when that was being fought out , we would not have this problem .

Even now , Christians as a whole are not praying for peace in the world . They are not praying for God to stop the madness .

No it is the opposite . Many are praying the events come sooner so they can escape in the rapture . And others are praying for the events to come sooner because they want to see everything in thier lifetime .

People are nuts

They pray not for thier brothers and sisters as they should . But only for themselves , to save thier own skin . .

Is that what your version of being a Christian is all about . Save yourself

Actually, I've talked with her about it so many times and honestly she is far more polite and accepting of Jesus than atheists. My bf and I can't even debate God without him insulting me or my God, but my friend, even though she is deceived, because she tells me she believes in Jesus and that her magic is white, and how she does not harm anyone. etc . . . I also have a Mormon friend. She is very very lovely and kind, and I told her how her religion is not true and we are still friends today.

I just do not get it with those atheists. They are so close minded.

Jesus tells us to Love our neighbor as ourselves . Jesus says to forgive those who persecute you . Jesus says to love your enemies Jesus tells us ( Jesus is the Word ) through Paul to use the Gifts of the Spirit

So what happens here , among Christians . . " only born again Christians will come to God " what do todays Christians mean by born again exactly , . To be like them ? Or to be filled with love , as God intends . If a person isnot filled with Gods Love , they are not Born Again

.if a person who claims to be a Christian and is not filled with Gods Love , they can scream ontop of the mountains "Jesus is my Lord and Savior , " and still not see Heaven .

@Andyindauk -- God's Word tells us to Not mess around with the occult or anything satanic. It's dangerous. That particular passage was relating to something totally different. Those men were given those abilities to show that they were different. And in that particular area and time -- it was Jesus Christ who told them that. When they preached -- nothing would be allowed to hurt them.

@KittyLinda -- it's your attitude towards Christmas that puzzles me. Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. What is your understanding as to how Jesus Christ came to this world. And His purpose For coming? And maybe it was also SheepMary who questioned Christmas.

Why do we worship Jesus ? If all that was written about Jesus was written by men then how are we to know what is real and what isn't real ?

How are we to know that the service we attend is actually to a god or to a figment of our imagination ?

In the words of Jesus to Thomas put away your doubt and believe . Christians choose to celebrate the birth of Christ on Christmas . Who cares if it is on a pagan holiday because what came first God or the pagan holiday because God created the world not the pagans so if we look at every single day is God's day and we choose to make that particular day the day that we celebrate Jesus birth it was God's day way before it was ever a pagan holiday.

You're only confusion comes from the pagans that they think that they own certain days when they do not cuz all the days belonging to God and no one else

So when I say that Halloween was God's day already before it ever became anything else then I say that the pagans and the evil ones stole it and tried to claim it as their own but I never saw them create a single day
