In Genesis 1:11,12 it reads, And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. The earth and the seed was made to work together. God commanded the earth to bring forth, He put increase in the earth. Now, if you put a seed in the ground that seed will increase into the thing. Every seed only needs increase. A seed is the thing, it becomes the thing. Increase the seed to receive the thing. God put the provision in the seed and it only needs increase to receive. Like the seed was made to work with the ground of the earth your heart was made to work with the word of God. Heart is not referring to your blood pump, it's not referring to anything physical. It's referring to the spiritual, I've heard it taught it's where the soul and spirit connect. For in Hebrews 4:12 it says, For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Soul and spirit can be divided so they must be connected.
First God’s word brought into manifestation now the seeds planted and watered brings into manifestation and his word is seed and your heart is the ground and He has commanded you to, “Be Fruitful “ which means to bring forth. That's what Jesus was talking about in Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. You bring forth from the inside-out. The words(seeds) you put inside is already ordained to produce outside. Notice, in Genesis 1 God made the trees and flowers, He spoke and it was so, but then He gave Adam the seeds. Why did He give Adam the seeds, because since He gave man dominion/authority now it’s his responsibility. Notice, how God created them, He spoke out what was in Him. It was inside first and He brought it outside by speaking. And the scripture says that He made man in his image and likeness. That’s what Jesus is telling us in Luke 6:45, if it’s inside and you speak it out you will bring it forth. In Hebrews 11:1 it says, Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith is the substance of things in the spiritual, just as a seed is the substance of things in the natural. The substance has to go in the ground for the thing to come out.
That gives us better understanding of what Jesus said in Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. If you have the substance inside and you speak it that thing will be brought forth outside/ into manifestation. That’s our responsibility not God’s. Sometimes people say, “If God wants to do it then He’ll just do it”, no, did you plant the seed. Once God gives you the seeds it’s your responsibility. Every seed is the product of a finished work, so God has done His part, He has made and gave us the seeds. Understand, it’s made in the spiritual and faith is the substance of them and if you want to bring it into the earth/physical then you have to plant the seed. You have to get the substance of it in you. Faith comes by hearing and the best way to hear it is you speaking it. Romans 10:8 says, But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach. In 1 Corinthians 3:6,7 it reads, I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
The scripture calls the heart of man ground and it calls God’s word seed(Luke 8:11), water(Eph. 5:26), and light(Ps. 119:130). Just like in the natural it works in the spiritual. That’s why God tells us to hold fast our confession of faith because those words are going through a process to become like Jesus, the word made flesh/physical/manifested. Notice, the word did not become flesh just out of God’s mouth, man gave voice to His word in the earth for it to be done legally, because He gave man the authority. Notice, what it says in Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. Why, because it has to be spoken by man, because He gave authority to mankind and He will not violate it. So, it’s important that you give voice to God’s word. For God has spoken in Isa. 55:10,11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. One meaning of the word void is “Without Fruit.” The word becomes fruit/a manifestation out of you. Proverbs 18:21 says, Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Notice, you will eat(have) the fruit of your lips.
It is not God's will that any should perish. And I wouldn't want to end this article without giving someone the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It's very easy just pray: Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20). He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12). 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. Romans 5:8-10 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. [10] For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 2 Peter 3:9 King James Version 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance
