Sing to the LORD, all the earth; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples. For the LORD [is] great and greatly to be praised; He [is] also to be feared above all gods. 1 Chronicles 16:23-25
Every news journalist worth his salt knows the basic questions he has to ask and answer: Who? What? When? Where? Why? And How? In the verses above, repeated in Psalm 96:2-4, you can learn the answer to each question about your God-given mandate.
The only question left unanswered is, How? Thankfully, Jesus supplied that answer to His disciples before ascending to heaven six weeks after His resurrection.

Who? Everyone, sing to God!
What? Proclaim good tidings of His salvation.
When? Every day!
Where? Among all nations, peoples, and tongues.

With Jesus' all-encompassing authority and constant presence (Matthew 28:18-20).
Preaching the good news that Jesus died for every man and his sins, rose again from the dead, and now calls you to repent and receive forgiveness (Mark 16:15).
Making disciples by baptizing people and teaching them all Jesus taught (Luke 24:46-49).
With the Holy Spirit's filling, power, and joy (Acts 1:8).
Prayer: Lord, Your mandate is clear. I will obey!
