Worth Alive
There’s a twelve year old at his father’s closet standing on a chair
Reaches up to grab a box get’s down lays it on the bed an opens
Tired of the demons that haunts him everyday called bullies
Keep the gun in the box son your better then that its not worth it
There’s a man waiting for you with his arms stretched open wide
Take His hand to see how much more your worth alive
There’s a eighteen year old girl sitting against the tub in the bathroom
Blood dripping off the sink, the girl just trying to get a different feeling other
Then the darkness that consumes her despair
Hold on lost daughter of the King don't you see your better then that
There’s a man with His arms stretched open wide at the end of the tunnel
Just take His hand to see how much more your worth alive
There’s a man sitting on bench waiting for the next train to come on by
Thoughts swirling in his head, wife just left him kids stopped speaking
Now he's just trying to build enough courage to kiss the train
Don’t do it man don’t you know your better then that its not worth it
There’s a man waiting for you with His arms stretched open wide
Just take His hand to see how much more your worth
The man was about to kiss the train when he was pushed out of the way
A stranger with scars on His hands helped the man up said come with me
Just then his daughter ran to his side to say he was going to be a Grandfather
There’s a man waiting with His arms stretched open wide dying on a cross
Just waiting for you to take His hand so he can show your worth alive in Him
He will give you His life if you just give Him yours so he can end the darkness
