Psalm 33:15 says and, as the evidence is clearly revealed throughout human history, God fashions each one of our hearts "individually". And thus, we need to learn to rely on Jesus as our teacher, rather than relying on the bias of scientists, educators, priests, preachers, self-help gurus, so-called "spiritual advisers" or anyone else. They are all just sinners born in the dark like the rest of us.
If the term "easier" ever applies to God, it is perhaps easier for our father in heaven to work with sinners who have been around a few blocks, than to try to convince the fundamentally religious that there might just be an easier and better way to live. Perhaps this is why Jesus seems to have preferred the company of sinners and average people, who can say for sure?
And for those who believe modern science somehow disproves Jesus and our father in heaven, Albert Einstein said: "I am a Jew, but I am enthralled by the luminous figure of the Nazarene. Jesus is too colossal for the pen of phrasemongers, however artful...no man can read the gospels without feeling the actual presence of Jesus. His personality pulsates in every word. No myth is filled with such life (quote from biographer Walter Isaacson).
Will Durant, a very learned historian, said that Jesus was by far, "the greatest mind" in human history. Also according to Durant, if Jesus did not exist, "neither did Julius Caesar and half of human history." Durant then goes to great length in his epic historical volume "Caesar and Christ", to explain why those who claim Jesus is an invention are the worst kind of liars and frauds.
Who among us can read the Good Samaritan story, the story of the prodigal son, the story of Zacchaeus, the story of the rich man and poor Lazarus and, the story of the widow with two mites and, not know that these are truly the thoughts and words of the Almighty, who is no respecter of persons? The four New Testament narratives of Jesus, who is called "Messiah", are truly the words and deeds of the son of God.
According to the narrative of Jesus found in John, the first miracle he did was to turn water into very fine wine. This pretty-much sums up how much different Jesus is than the religious leaders of human history.
