What you sow, you reap
'Let us not become weary in doing good...we will reap a harvest if we do not give up' GALATIANS 6:9
You may think you have to be old to make a difference in the world. Sorry. Wrong! You can see and do amazing stuff as a young person, and change the world around you for the better.
You may have heard of a dutch lady called Corrie Ten Boom; she's written books about her life, and is famous for saving Jews from the Nazis in the war.
But you may not have heard of her nephew Peter? He made an amazing difference too; and he started young! When he was just 16, he was thrown into prison for his involvement with the Jews, and for going against the Germans. After WW2, he travelled the world, preaching that forgiveness is the only answer to hatred, and people were changed and saved through him and his words.
What he'd done when he was younger came back to help him too; he had a heart attack in Israel and needed surgery. It turned out the surgeon was one of the babies Peter's family had saved all those years ago. 40 years after he'd been saved, the surgeon repaid the debt, by saving Peter's life. What you sow, good or bad, will come back to you. So make sure it's good stuff you're sowing in your life, and one day, you'll reap the harvest. It'll be in God's time, but it will happen.
