Sometimes it feels like that, doesn't it? Maybe you've had a row with your brother, or your girlfriend's in a mood with you and you've no idea why. It feels like they're on another planet! But they're not. God created guys and girls differently; our brains work in different ways.
Whereas a guy may have school, home, mates, and hobbies all in different boxes in his brain, where one doesn't affect the others, a girl has all the same things, but the boxes are all joined, and they affect each other. Something happening at home can affect all the other boxes. So your brother may forget your argument by the time you get home, and be all cheery when you're fuming with him, because he left that box behind hours ago and has done so much since then, and only when he gets back in the 'family' box will he be ready to deal with it.
Or your girlfriend may be in a mood with you because of something going on in a completely different part of her life, and until that's sorted, she won't be happy. It's unlikely that guys will ever completely understand girls, and vice versa; but by understanding some of the differences, we can learn to get on with each other so much better, and give each other the space to be who God created us to be, whether that's male or female!
