Ok so this is the third day we've read this verse. But rather than say, 'Give it a rest already!' read it over again and let it really sink in! When we're not living in God's truth, we're living in lies; we're going against God and getting trapped in the stuff we do wrong, so test out how you're doing.
Imagine this: You have just found out that for the last two weeks your every movement has been picked up by secretly hidden cameras. Without realising it your life has been the latest Big Brother experiment. Everything that you have done and said over the last two weeks has been broadcast over the internet. The TV cameras and the press are outside waiting with their difficult questions.
How are you feeling? Are you thinking back to certain moments hoping that no-one really saw that or heard you say that? Are you feeling confident about the press interview, or do you want the ground to open up and swallow you? Are you just thankful it was this month it happened and not last month? If you're not feeling totally confident, take time to think where you went wrong and talk to God about it. Ask Him to forgive you and start again. Jesus says, 'If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.'
